My daughter graduated from high school today.
One piece of advice I gave her:
Know your values. Know the reasons why you have them. If they make sense, stand by them.
Not because I ( or anyone else) told you to. Not because it's tradition. Because you've thought it through and you own them.
I've built everything in my life on this principle.
The moment you compromise a value you can't explain, you've already lost something harder to get back than money or time.
