Running smaller trading accounts in the Discord has been reminding me just how different the game feels when every mistake matters more.
Some of the biggest problems I keep running into are overtrading, taking positions that are too large for the account, and trying to force trades that really don’t fit the system.
Over the last year, especially since interviewing Jack Schwager, I’ve been getting much more serious about figuring out what actually works for me and how I want my trading system to operate.
Right now, a few things are becoming non-negotiable: defined risk, fewer setups, fewer tickers, and making sure one bad trade doesn’t have the power to wreck the account.
There’s always something else to learn, something to refine, and something to get better at. So for me, it’s really just one trade at a time.

I've seen some comments on the recent short post about picking and choosing options based on delta, and I'm curious where everyone's head is at.
Quick reminder: that breakeven number is really just telling you where the stock's price needs to be AT EXPIRATION for you to not lose your entire premium. But most of us aren't holding to expiration anyway, right?
So let me ask you:
When you're picking an options contract, what matters most to you?
🔵 Delta (how much the option moves with the stock)
🟢 Breakeven price
🟡 Premium cost
🔴 Something else
