Hi! Thank you for your kind comments and messages. I am genuinely happy that Mr. Samuel’s Teatime Stories has brought comfort to some people out there. I’d like to try and answer a few questions and comments we’ve received.
Also I received some requests for behind the scenes photos so here are a few.
Will we be uploading the music separately? Yes. Two of the tracks from episode III are on Soundcloud. Once all four episodes are out, I will keep updating this playlist to include all the music and songs from Mr. Samuel’s Teatime Stories.
A few people have pointed out how there are no jump scares or elements that are outright scary. I honestly wanted this film to be a sort of refuge. Even if it is a bit of an uncomfortable universe, it’s one I think quite a few of us often find ourselves in, and this is a chance, I think, for us not to be alone in the anxiety bubble.
Is the script AI generated? No!!! I wrote this three years ago and if you ever come across my instagram page, you can see little sketches here and there with different puppets through which I was slowly building this script. You will sometimes find the exact same conversations from this film, with different puppets. The text comes from the infinite well of sadness : -)
Some people have also been kind enough to ask how they could support us. We are not considering setting up any sort of fund. I’d like for both the film and the music to be freely available to anyone. However, if you like the music, please feel free to get one of my two albums from bandcamp. The money goes directly to me and my label (and my two cats).
(Update: FIXED - We’re back thanks everyone) -Hello. It seems that youtube has flagged Mr. Samuel's Teatime Stories as kids' content. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience and hope that the Youtube team resolves this ASAP. Although Mr. Samuel isn't outright scary, it isn't meant for children; I've appealed the decision and sent three separate emails. I'm not really sure how else to get the attention of the Youtube team. I don't really post on here in general and have never had to deal with this kind of issue before. Any kind of advice would be appreciated. Thank you ❤️-
