I'm truly loving the Retroid Pocket Nova. Plays all those 4:3 childhood games upscale and some GameNative games have a 4:3 mode as well.

I have a video I'm editing on how to change out the back and buttons should you need a tutorial?

For those who asked for a real world size comparison of the Anbernic RG DS Plus, here it is next to my Bigme 6. The Bigme 6 is a little smaller than my kindle but not something I put in my pocket [I have been pocketing the RG DS Plus however].

Article will be up on RetroSpecd.gg soon'ish.

🚨Retroid Pocket Duo Order Update

Pocket Duo | pocket Duo Lite
Launch Time:
September 11th (9:30 pm EST)
September 12th (9:30 am BJT)
[Will Show Soldout Until Sale Goes Live]

🛒 Grab the Pocket Duo Here:
► Retroid: www.goretroid.com/products/retroid-pocket-duo-hand…
[note prior to the sale going live the Duo will show out of stock on Retroid’s website]

Retroid Pocket Duo Lite
Retail $149 4+64GB $169 6+128GB
Preorder $135 4+64GB $155 6+128GB

Retroid Pocket Duo Retail $269 8+128GB
Preorder $249 8+128GB

The Pocket Duo pricing is fitting in the sweat spot between the Anbernic RG DS Plus and the Ayn Thor. This new dual screen handheld should be great for emulation. The Duo Lite more or less has a similar chip as the Mangmi Air X. The Pocket Duo [non-lite] has the equivalent of the Snapdragon 7 Gen4.

The cost on the Duo Lite to double your memory for $20 is cheaper than you can get an additional 64GB microSD card in today’s market environment. I think the RAM in that upgrade is a bonus and definitely worth it in my opinion.

If you want more info we have been live updating a page for the Pocket Dup on the website: retrospecd.gg/retroid-pocket-duo-updates/

[IPDATE] Retroid Pocket Duo ‘Lite’ teased today.

That’s right Retroid is releasing 2 variants of the new Pocket Duo. These handhelds are arguably designed for vastly different customers.
The new Lite model swaps the 120Hz AMOLED displays for 60Hz LCD and the Qualcomm Q-7790 [snapdragon 7 Gen4] for the QCS6125 [SD665].

There are a couple other differences as well. The Lite gets inline triggers/bumpers vs the stacked inline shoulders in the mainline addition.

Definitely didn’t see that coming…

I’ll be updating the live page with the new info shortly:

Playing some Devil May Cry 5 while waiting in the pickup line at the kids school... what are you playing today?

Also the KONKR Pocket Fit Elite is still one of my favorite handhelds this year. Was worth the wait!
