Now with RetroSpecd’ I aim to share my love of retro gaming with the YouTube Community. Bringing both old technology and innovative technology that can operate old systems in new improved ways to the YouTube community. I have a vast collection of older and current gaming handhelds that I’ve either located through past research for personal use or my expansive global travels.

Not sure how long this will last but if you need a 2TB A2 microSD this is the cheapest this card has been in a while and available on Amazon.
I use these in some of my PC Handhelds and they have worked great. I ordered another with this sale as it’s -$80 less than I paid for the same card a couple weeks ago.

Because Ayaneo announced a few months ago they were going to slow down releases they have only sped up. Here is the Ayaneo Konkar Advance. A GBA style handheld that brings all the nostalgia.
If you are interested in this follow close. Their last release only had 100 units and then when pressured to release more, the Pocket Micro 2 sold out within 3 minutes again. We’ll see if they hype the Konkar Advance up as much as they did the Pocket Micro 2 with it being under their “budget” brand.
I’ll update when we get some more info. Fingers crossed it’s not another 4hour livestream at 4am.

🗞️Retroid News on Pocket 5 and Flip 2 [Mostly Good]
Retroid announced this morning that there is some changes coming yet again to the RP5 and Flip 2. These updates are not all bad however, so if you have an order in or are planning to place an order here’s what you need to know:
Retroid has depleted their inventory of 8GB/128GB SD865 models of both devices. If you are currently waiting for one or both of these devices with an already placed order you just received a FREE Upgrade. Seeing as they have run out of 8GB chips you will be upgraded to the 12GB/128GB version at no cost to you. This will be automatically updated no action required by you.
Any new RP5 or Flip 2 orders placed now will also receive the 12GB/128GB version. This should happen on the backend automatically.
On July 15th the 12GB/128GB model will be officially replacing the 8GB/128GB version. The retail price of the 12GB version will be increasing by $10 unfortunately, but that is a steal to go from 8GB to 12GB of RAM [especially in today’s market].

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend whether you were celebrating Independence Day or just kicking back playing some great games.
I received a handful of handhelds while we were at the cabin this weekend which I’ll start working on reviews for tomorrow. A couple of these are really interesting and I’m looking forward to hopefully not being disappointed.
I should be back to a more normal upload schedule again as long as all the fixes I put into the studio before the weekend are still working correctly when I turn on the lights tomorrow.
I would love to know what games you are playing, I was able to find time to roll credits on a few I’ve been working on?
