What started out as a simple family adventure is now a podcast (Trimmed & Stapled) and this YouTube channel.
We just finished our seventh year and have ridden 399 different coasters and visited 78 amusement parks. Our channel continues to grow and add new video series including : Helpful Hints, Focus On (Park Reviews), Let's Eat, Let's Go Shopping, Must Rides, Making the Grade (Roller Coaster Reviews), Spotlights, Challenge Accepted and our most popular Explore Series.

125 Roller Coaster Challenge
So it's finally April (and the parks are opening up) so we are starting with our new upload schedule.
Today we had a triple header day with a short and podcast this morning and we actually finished the What's New at Kings Dominion video so why not throw that up there but tomorrow is a different story.
Tomorrow will be the first day without anything going up, even for members. We are looking to now cut the shorts down to 1 or 2 a week (with most going to our members to enjoy) and our full length videos will be 2 or 3 a week.

Trips coming up are Hersheypark on Sunday and Six Flags Great Adventure on Monday along with videos and shorts Friday - Sunday.

125 Roller Coaster Challenge
Well this weekend is over and the majority of the time was spent moving past 125 Roller Coaster videos to a new hard drive (4k takes a lot of space) so no park visits so far.
Tomorrow is a Kings Dominion day and later this week we are hitting Hersheypark and Six Flags Great Adventure (it was way too cold on Saturday for an old guy like me).
New full length videos are on the way and members, we are finishing up the Coaster Clash to drop tomorrow.

125 Roller Coaster Challenge
Important Poll!!
Okay, just came back from Dream Works Water Park and have a question for everyone.
We are doing two 125 challenges this year. We are doing the standard rollercoaster one but with a twist. First they can't be coasters we have done in 2025 and second we are adding log flumes to the mix cause they are unique and just fun.
We are also doing a 125 water slide challenge because last year we visited a lot of water parks but never got to play that is makes us actually play when we are there. There are rules of course (no kiddie slides, splash zone slides and large rafts) but this is where we ran into something we need your thoughts one.
What about water coasters? Where do they fit in? Are they like the log flumes and should be counted on that list? Are they water slides more and should be counted there.
Hersheypark considers Breaker's Edge a coaster while RCDB doesn't. So vote below and let us know your thoughts.

Dropping on Saturday is our Making the Grade video featuring Busch Gardens Williamsburg. This is our version of coaster rankings.
Dropping on Thursday (a week from now) will be our first Hot Topic video in awhile featuring Hersheypark.

We are really getting into the writing and recording of new produced videos (did you you check out the first for 2026 (Power Rankings for Busch Gardens Tampa??)
On Saturday we are dropping our Making the Grade for Busch Gardens Williamsburg and finishing up our Hot Topic Video for Hersheypark and our MEMBER EXCLUSIVE - Coaster Clash - Nitro vs Candymodium.
