"Friend Reveals Shocking Allegations of Abuse Faced by Zhao Lusi in 2019"

Recent revelations from a close friend of Chinese actress Zhao Lusi have brought to light harrowing allegations of abuse she endured in 2019 while working under her former company.
The anonymous friend, posting online, shared details of an incident in which Zhao Lusi was reportedly berated and physically attacked by someone from her management. According to the account, the incident deeply traumatized the actress, leaving lasting physical and emotional scars.
The friend described how, in April 2019, Zhao Lusi had been verbally abused for over two hours during a late-night confrontation. During this time, the attacker criticized her talent, appearance, and weight. When Zhao remained silent, the person allegedly hit her. “I found her curled up in the dark when I came home,” the friend recounted. “She told me she didn’t know why they hit her and that she was terrified.”
Although five people witnessed the incident, including Zhao’s then-manager, no apology was ever issued. The aggressor’s actions were reportedly excused as “drunken behavior.” Attempts to pursue legal action were abandoned due to Zhao Lusi’s fear of contractual penalties for her family.
The friend also discussed how the trauma continues to affect Zhao Lusi. Recent photos of the actress in a wheelchair have sparked widespread concern among fans about her health.
Since debuting in 2016, Zhao Lusi has risen to prominence with leading roles in popular dramas like Oh! My Emperor and Hidden Love. Despite her professional success, her struggles have highlighted the darker side of the entertainment industry.
The post, shared with Zhao Lusi’s consent, calls for accountability and an end to online bullying targeting the actress. The friend concluded by urging fans to send positive energy and support as Zhao Lusi works toward recovery.

fromis_9 bids farewell to HYBE with heartfelt single ‘from’
K-pop group fromis_9 is leaving HYBE as all members conclude their contracts. They are releasing a special single, ‘from’, today as a farewell gift to fans, expressing gratitude for their support. Member Song Hayoung contributed to composing the song, and all members collaborated on the lyrics.
Since debuting in 2018, fromis_9 has released hits like ‘Talk & Talk’, ‘DM’, and ‘Supersonic’, which was recognized as one of the “Best K-pop Songs of 2024.” They will finish the year with a performance at MBC’s ‘Gayo Daejejeon’ on December 31st.
