Hey friends! I know it's been a minute (okay… two months 😳) since my last real video, and I just wanted to pop in with an update — and a little proof that I haven’t disappeared off the face of the earth!

As many of you saw in my last post, my old camera unexpectedly developed a hiccup on me — and after a lot of searching, saving, and camera spec rabbit holes, I finally have a shiny new setup! 🙌🎥 It’s amazing, but also a bit of a learning curve, so I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get it dialed in so I can bring you the kind of quality content you deserve.

On top of that, I’ve also been pouring a ton of creative energy into a freelance project — designing a brand new menu for an awesome deli (yes, that’s it in the photo too!). It’s been a really fun project, but with everything going on, time has been tight lately.

I want to say a big THANK YOU for your patience, kind messages, and continued support. I’m feeling the pressure to get a new video out (trust me, I miss it), but I’m also doing my best not to rush something that deserves my full attention. Quality and connection matter most to me.

New content is coming very soon. ❤️ Until then, here’s a little glimpse into what I’ve been up to.

I know you must be wondering where I am.... I am so sorry I have not posted a new video lately! I promise, I have not forgotten about you. I was filming a class for my website school, plus filming more YouTube videos at the same time, when my camera decided to start acting up. After spending way too much time troubleshooting it, I finally decided to purchase a new one. (I rarely have good luck with the lighting using my phone in my studio.) Please bear with me while I find a new camera. If you have one you love, I'd like to hear about it! Thanks so much for being here!

Hello, my creative friends! I'm just popping in to tell you that I've been a little slow posting lately because I have been working on an unexpected freelance project and I'm trying to get that completed asap. I'm kinda falling in love with painting plants and baked goods, thanks to this project. Did you see my short with the sourdough loaf? That was for this project. Since I paint mostly flowers on YT & IG this has been a fun little time painting other things. I'll try to show you the finished product, once I get permission to release it. What have you been painting lately? I'd love to hear about it.

Hello, everyone. I posted a new video yesterday about color mixing. In the video, I showed a side-by-side comparison of Quinacridone Violet and Violet, but did not also show the Rose of Ultramarine, so here is a snapshot. As you can see the Rose of Ultramarine and Quin. Violet are very similar, with the Rose of Ultram. being slightly more earthy and more granulating. These two could easily be substituted for each other in most applications. If you'd like to see it zoomed in, just use your keyboard shortcut to do so. Happy painting!
