The time has come for you all to make a choice for the continued storyline of CotM. After this most recent chapter, Lord Regent Hyde was faced with a harrowing decision. With the city facing destruction, and a delirious Crown Prince Christofax demanding that the populace be evacuated, the choice must be made whether or not Hyde will obey the orders of his friend's eldest son or rebel against the crown to maintain the defense of the mountain.

Here's a small snippet of something you guys MIGHT encounter in Cult of the Maw many many sessions in the future:
"Amphitrious made a sound somewhere between a greeting and a snort, looking between the bubbling cauldron and Ardax.
'Bath,' he said, in what the prince could only deduce was meant to be a tone of guileless innocence.
'How very gracious of you,' Ardax replied pleasantly, holding out an arm to keep Thell from leveling his spear at the malformed troll.
Amphitrious grunted again, half turning from the assembled Dwarrow to fiddle with a very large, very out of place wooden ladle.
'For a moment there, Ardax continued in a conversational tone, 'I nearly thought this was all a rather thinly concealed attempt to cook my men into soup while we were sleeping. But surely you couldn't have intended that, could you?'
Amphitrious looked between Ardax and the pot. Back to Ardax. Back to the pot.
'...No,' he replied at length.
'Oh good, glad we cleared that up!' Ardax chirped brightly at him, 'So, should we expect breakfast?'"
Honestly REALLY hoping you guys make the decisions that get you into this scenario, but if you don't, you don't 🤷♂️
Okay, so good news and bad news. Good news: it WASN'T actually hay fever (or gay fever, despite what my love for Broadway tunes might indicate).
The bad news is it turned out to actually be a chest infection. My lungs are like Satan's garbage disposal. Pretty sure everyone living on this street can hear my tuberculosis-sounding ass coughing up chunks of red meat like I'm a child living in Victorian London.
So while the next chapter of Cult of the Maw is finished and written and ready to narrate... I'm not going to do it for a bit. Because when I talk I sound like the old worm from SpongeBob rasping about chocolate.
AND I cut my chin shaving yesterday. So clearly I'm out of commission.
A new episode of Basilisk is now available on the second channel, starring the LEGENDARY Marchand as our stalwart hero Lieutenant Ethan Warner. If you aren't up to speed on the story so far, you can find a full playlist of the series on my channel page. Here's our most recent episode, I think our cast really knocked it out of the park as usual. Please show them some love, because Lord knows they've earned it.

It's affecting my voice and ability to properly record, and seems to get a good deal worse every time I wake up. Working on a solution so I can get back to recording, but so far nothing has worked.
