Part of the reason why I love to work on old consoles is because not only did I grow up with them, but if you look at the industry, we are heading into an age where consoles are no longer going to be relevant. The cost will not be worth buying one and the companies are starting to realize this and they are making games multi-platform. If they want to keep the profit line going up, I'm afraid consoles are not the way to go for companies. These are my thoughts on the current state of gaming, but what do you think will companies continue to make more consoles after the next gen drops? Let me know your thoughts.
