When I started Analyst Academy, I never thought making YouTube videos would become such a big part of it — but it’s ended up being one of the most fun (and surprisingly impactful) things we do.
The goal was simple: teach people how to build better slides.

Data Visualization for Consultants is finally here!!
We spent a long time on this one (well over a year!), and we’re really excited about how it turned out. It's only been out for a week now and already the response has been completely overwhelming.
In short, it's data visualization training for people in PowerPoint-heavy careers such as consulting, strategy, and finance. The primary goal of the course is to teach people to tell stories with their data in a way that's engaging, insightful, and above all else, practical.

Great data from @wsj but shouldn't this be a bar chart??
Tables definitely have their place (when theres lots of data, multiple variables, or when precise numbers matter, etc.), but in this case a nice looking bar chart with restaurant logos and data labels at the end of each bar would have made this information a lot easier to grasp.
