heya, i've been disappearing very often lately, mostly because i wanna address this since this feeling has been stuck in my chest for a really long time so i want to use this time to express myself for once.
this might be incredibly obvious but i already lost interest in being in the gacha community as a whole.
it's mostly because of how everything's been changing and evolving in a bad sense. this community has been changing somewhat for the worse imo. it's now filled with appreciation to short videos with little effort and filled with things that are too ahead of their time. it's really been affecting me and my mental health, these things that i can't keep up with really hurt.
these short videos with small skits and simple editing really took over the community, which overshadows those who put effort into videos. everybody knows that. everybody kind of accepted it (which is from what i've seen). i get that people are able to make content quickly and are able to upload more often but it really sickens me. it's terrible because that's what the algorithim wants and heck-- i'm sure SO many people think this way - but we can't even do anything to reverse it and i find that so dreadful.
evolving is great when it comes to a community, but it really made me felt like i was behind with everything- from simple stop-motion skits and stories with small series and glmms + glmvs, to live2d rigging, full-on animated series, gacha mods, merch- god it felt *so* draining to see things evolve so fast IN A SPAN OF THREE YEARS MIGHT I ADD!! i was here ever since gachaverse it felt like i watched *everything* change before my eyes from the very beginning, seeing things change so much really overwhelmed me and it made me feel so talentless when in reality- i could do so much more and i definitely have so much potential and so do you. but honestly it's another thing that we all can't reverse, this community became so big- i never knew a small dress-up game can grow into something incredibly huge- it's crazy to me.
and overall, that's why i made the decision to upload less and spend my time on other things instead, i hope you all understand!! if u read this far, i cherish u for the bottom of my heart + thank u for listening to my first and smol rant :'3

i rly love editing my own ocs- but i wanna mention that i *might* include my art style of them in edits aswell!! pretty coooll- just a lil' heads up :))
i might also slightly drift away from ocs (AS MUCH AS I RLY LOVE THEMFJFK) and also start to edit fandom stuff aswell- like genshin or project sekai (IFICANPLAYIT RR)- but in gacha ofc lol

ok.. i've been thinking abt this for a while now, so- imma ask cus i wanna hear you guys' thoughts: is a long typo tutorial that's about 28-29 mins worth watching?? or should it be separate?
trust me, the tutorial is actually combined into detailed parts (of transitions n' stuff), that's why it's so long.
