😳Leaving U.S. Markets for Foreign Markets📈
A lot of people are talking about how international is beating the US market so far in 2025 and so "we need to change our portfolio and move to international". VEA has been a big one all over the internet because S&P 500 is down -12% and VEA is up +5.85%.
I just want to make sure you ZOOM OUT and do not make any crazy decisions for your future based off a couple months of pain. Looking at the chart above, in almost 20 years.. the TOTAL return is 7.08%.. IN TOTAL FOR 20 YEARS!
Emerging markets is even worse.
I know these are not fun times, but sometimes, the best thing to do is just do nothing. Let the storm blow through and keep DCA'ing like usual.

🚨SELL the news and BUY the dip! Market corrections are normal and healthy. We are able to now buy in to amazing assets at 10-20% cheaper than just 3 months ago. Today I bought VOO, QQQM, SCHG, and SCHD heavy and I am looking forward to continuing to buy at these prices or lower for the next few months.
A typical "down market" / bear market / correction can last anywhere from 2 months to 12 months on average and the stock market typically sees a pullback every 1.5 years. In 2023 and 2024 we saw gains of over 20% in both years respectively, so we were definitely due for a healthy correction. Keep going strong and keep investing SIMPLIFIED!
