Hi all,
What an absolutely incredible ( and extremely long 🥲 ) day out! The ELR Diesel Winter Warm-up Event was incredible in itself. There was constantly an engine entering, leaving, shunting or being static… honestly an incredible event, and to consider this was only with a home fleet makes it all the more impressive, this post was just to showcase the engines that were in the event, and to breakdown a small bit of my day, explaining how the event ran for the day, if it helps anyone 😃
The images included ( aka. The fleet: );
1) BR Class 47 ( ScotRail ) n° 47 555 / 45 765 ( Different running numbers on either side ) in a dirty state. Image taken on Platform 3.
2) BR Class 40 {whistler} ( BR Green ) n° 40 106 “Atlantic Conveyor” in a clean state. Image taken on Platform
3) BR Class 42 Western Hydraulic ‘Warship’ N°832 “Onslaught ) ( BR Blue ) in a clean state. Image taken on Platform 4.
4) BR Class 50 ( BR Blue ) n° 50 015 “Valiant” in a mixed state. Image taken on platform 1/2 - of engine on platform 3.
5) BR Class 24 ( BR 2-tone Green ) n° D5053 in a clean state. Image taken from below platform 2/3.
6) BR Class 28 (Cobo?) ( BR Green ) n° D5705 in a clean state. Image taken from platform 3 of engine on platform 2.
7) BR Class 08 ( BR Black - Large Crest ) N° 13954 in a regular working condition state. Image taken from platform 3 of engine on platform 2.

Did you get any good shots? Tag me so I can see 👀
If you did attend I hope you had an amazing time, and if you didn’t, there will be more opportunities throughout the year to do so!
Have a blessed day! :)

Hi all!
I’m excited to announce my next scheduled event, visiting my local heritage railway, the East Lancashire Railway (ELR) on Sunday 25th January 2025 for their first event of the year, the Open Shed Event. So what can you expect? Shorts of the regular Bury -> Ramsbottom service on the Top-&-tail service with LMS A Class , and BR Class 14 “Ernest”, as well as footage of Driver Experiences for the MSC N°32 “Gothenburg”! Of course additionally, I will be making videos of the main event, driving in a BR Class 121 Diesel Railcar between Bury Bolton Street and Bury Loco works, an unusual route that is normally off limits, staying to the right upon exiting Bury, instead of turning left as per normal up the line to Heywood and further to Mainline connections. Additionally - an absolute treat return to Bury on the brake van between L&Y Pug and J.N DerbyShire, I will be filming as much as possible at the event ( this meaning of course the main event, walking through the sheds and yard , and I’m incredibly grateful to be able to attend, especially for such an incredible event. I am going to attempt to visit every event on the ELR this year , and document footage of it on this channel. Just a reminder, you can use ANY footage on this channel for your own videos without credits =) If you spot me , don’t be afraid to say hi! Hope you’ve all had a great start to the year, and looking off of timetables so far, it’s going to be a good one! ( I’m looking at you Legends Of Steam 111! ).
Have an amazing day!

Happy new year everyone!
2025 brought a lot of memories, and was the birth year of this channel! I’ve tried so incredibly hard to locate different engines to show for you this year, and I’m going to ensure that more content comes out in 2026. This year has seen a wide variety of engines, from the BR Class 52, Stanier Mogul, A2, L&Y 23, BR Class 56, A1 Peppercorn, West Country Class, 2MT Ivatt, Class 66 & Class 47 ?! This year there will be more freighters, more railtours, and more heritage. I pour my heart into this channel, and want to keep her running!
All the best for 2026, regardless of if you follow the hobby or not
Have a blessed day 😁

Hey all,
Yesterday marked the final journey on Pathfinder’s rail tours. To mark their 52 years of excellent heritage railtours, they embarked on one final tour, using their Western Hydraulic B.R Class 52 D1001 “Western Pathfinder”. It’s been amazing watching this rail tours throughout the country. I wish all volunteers and workers of this company the best in the future, and thank you all for creating these incredible excursions. I spotted her for the final time at Wigan North Western Platform 1 at 14:17, 20th December 2025.
Thank you, Pathfinder tours

Hi all!
Wow it’s been an amazing few days! Headed up to Preston yesterday to try catch a freighter ( which ironically got cancelled haha ) but instead caught 4 magnificent engines, 2 of which I have been dying to see for a while now! An A2, a class 55, and 2 class 47’s. Wow… That’s not all, expect some shorts this weekend as this Sunday I’m steaming back off to the GWSR to ( hopefully ) see 6880 “Betton Grange”, and another GWR Tender engine which I have forgotten the number of! Honestly some great catches and hopefully more to come for the festive season!
Image descriptions:
(1): LNER/BR A2 Pacific 60532 “Blue Peter”
(2): Brocken/Failed Class 55 Deltic
(3&4): Intercity & 2-tone BR Green Class 47’s
All at Preston station on Locomotive services!
Have a fenomenal day!
