I don't know why people think today is a romantic holiday. It's not. It's another Christian holiday for people to hold a feast like Thanksgiving, and doesn't really have any connections to love, whatsoever.
Choose another date if you plan to confess or express your love to someone. Here are my favorite dates.
January 4th at 3AM/PM is romantic and the reciprical on March 4th at 2AM/PM is romantic.
Why? Because it could represent 143 (I love you) and 342 (You love me) These are chat/text numbers to represent love, so therefore, in my opinion, it would be more romantic on these days.
If people prefer to celebrate one day as a whole like V-day (especially for Christians), then April 3rd would be best. 43 represents love. This would be a much more romantic day than V-Day.
And lastly, my favorite.
May 20th and May 21st.
In China, 520/521 represents "I love you" and has been another version of V-day for a while.
