You want some baby Lorenzo photos? I’ve got you!

On the left side is when Lorenzo is a baby. I’ll expand my explanation when I get to designing his mother (yes, I know she’s a tree and stuff but bear with me here-). But basically, Lorenzo is born as an itty bitty little seedling as shown here in this drawing. I would say that he's about the size of a Pikmin (if you don't know what they are, look it up, but they're basically these little colourful guys that Nintendo made), but to put it briefly, I would say that baby Lorenzo is around the same size as your thumb. Yes, he was that tiny back then.

But then as he ages, he starts to taller and well, bigger into the design that we all know and love (the one on the right of course). Lorenzo is pretty tall, standing at 6,3, which makes him the tallest UTB cast member. All nutcrackers all actually grow to being at least six.

So yeah! :D

I woke up today and was like, “Sheesh, my UTB designs are OLD and the poses look STIFF… I should redesign them! Revamp the whole UTB cast as a whole! :D” And thus, here we are.

I’ve been wanting to improve on my art as I haven’t been proud of it lately. Like, all my pervious art either looked boring and not interesting for me to look at. Even drawing as a whole. Like I wasn’t enjoying drawing like I used to. Probably because I spent most of my time drawing characters in the same repetitive poses or just did the simple 3/4 quarter head and end it off with the shoulders.

So after a bit of art advice from close friends, I’ve been trying to do different art methods/skills to help improve my art. And today was figuring out how to dynamic posing, doing better silhouettes and body types! Which was really fun to do. And I won’t be stopping there. I’ll be trying out many other art skills to help me improve and have a better love with art.

So expect a lot of art content from me in upcoming posts! 😅

A slight Lorenzo redesign (I gave him side bangs now hehe) and trying to figure out how his joints work being a nutcracker and all. I might do a full body of him who knows? (This was also a bit of an excuse to draw him flustered because I love flustered Lorenzo, he’s so adorable).

Even though Flowey is a menace to me, I still enjoy his character writing because it’s genuinely really good. Also making his facial expressions is fun to do. ^^

I’ve decided to redesign Flowey, but only because I really couldn’t stop seeing Basil instead of him. So boom! Gave him a new outfit and palette and everything! :)

(Also the dynamic switch up between these two is actually kind of funny! … I should explore more on it…)
