If someone tells you, “Bhai, I get 300 tons per acre from Napier… you can also do it,”
just smile.
Because the truth is very different.

Here’s the reality:

Napier doesn’t give yield based on variety names.
Napier gives yield based on conditions.

For one farmer, the same variety might give:
✔️ 100 tons
✔️ 150 tons
✔️ 200 tons

Why is there such a huge difference?

Because Napier’s yield depends on factors people rarely talk about:

🔹 Upjaaukshamta (fertility) of your soil
Poor soil = poor yield.
Healthy soil = exponential growth.

🔹 Weather conditions in your region
Hot + humid = faster regrowth.
Dry + cold = slower regrowth.

🔹 How many days after last harvest you cut it
Cut too early → Low yield
Cut too late → Low quality

🔹 Level of organic matter & moisture in soil
Napier loves living soil, not dead soil.

🔹 What fertilizers or organic inputs you are using
