After moving to San Francisco in October 2007, roommates and former schoolmates Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia came up with an idea of putting an air mattress in their living room and turning it into a bed and breakfast. In February 2008, Nathan Blecharczyk, Chesky's former roommate, joined as the chief technology officer and the third co-founder of the new venture, which they named "AirBed & Breakfast".

Now that we all know how we all got here, make sure you book your stay with us. We offer unique stays, experiences, and services that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

Our rates are affordable and we have airbnb units in Nakuru, Naivasha, Gilgil and Nairobi. We'll soon add more furnished homes from other counties within Kenya as time goes by.
