🍸 Ope, hey bud. I'm AlexMartini (like the drink).
I talk about Car News, Community Topics, and my own car builds. Hopefully it feels a little different than what you're used to (i'm still learning). I aim to create videos people can enjoy that talks about my journey in the car scene. I travel a ton to FormulaDrift events, car shows, track days and more so I can be a part of it all.
In 2023 I launched MartiniWorks with my friends. MartiniWorks is built help car guys and gals build their vehicles through our sparkling new "Build Threads" page. Check it out! Our aim there is to become the home for all types of motorsport enthusiasts to build and share their progress!

We’re larping with @lamborghini this weekend for Super Trofeo! 😮💨
Since we’re only here for 24 hours, they gave us the Temerario to get around and dude, this thing boogies.
The power delivery with the V8, twin turbos, and three electric motors feels like at any moment you could blip the throttle and immediately feel like you’re drinking water from a fire hydrant. I love it (Blu Marinus Matte on Terra Kapnos also is 🥵🥵)

How much should you ACTUALLY pay for a R32 GT-R?
Vote and check out the new vid here -> https://youtu.be/iBHnVS_UnWA
Well in today's video, I ask Matt who built his very own 600HP R32 that very question.
This car is PACKED with the kind of details that tell you this thing was built by someone who’d wanted one for a very long time.
It is loud, intentional, and full of the little choices that make a car feel personal instead of just expensive. It is also the first feature in my new series, Owner Spec, where I want to tell better stories about the cars people build and what those cars actually mean to them.
LMK if you like the video and what you'd like to see next 🙂

BIG NEWS!
When I was 18 I got my first Mazda Miata. Between 18 to now I owned about 6 more.
There was always something exciting about driving a Miata that just was...fun and now we get to do it OFFICIALLY. I’m excited to announce a partnership with @mazdamotorsports & @mazdausa for the 2026 season.
This means more racing with the Pro Formula Mazda, learning about their grassroots racing programs, building a spec Miata, and spending our daily drives in this insane CX70! :)
(Full video explaining everything is now LIVE! ✅)

I get asked A TON why I love Japanese Car Culture so much..here’s why 👀
After coming back for Tokyo Auto Salon, I’ve been able to meet more and more incredible friends, brands, and teams that pour their soul into their builds. Language barrier aside, I do EVERYTHING I can to learn from these builders to understand their story and one thing always sticks out; passion.
From Chop Top GT-R’s to the Rotary Kei Cars, this show continues to show the world the most creative and passionate projects led by some insanely talented folks that don’t do it for social media or clout, but for the heritage of the hobby.
It’s enamoring; and one of the many reasons I love coming here to explore global car culture.
So if you said hi, showed me around your car, or put up with my terrible translation this weekend, thank you so much ❤️

Getting a chance to talk with Sung Kang about his new movie, the cars he's built over the years, and learning about why he cares so much about the car community is something I never thought we'd get to do together. That video is finally out now (go check it out) - https://youtu.be/psBCRu-tjus?si=J9ki2...

There’s 12,000HP in that second photo ☠️
Every year I’m reminded how incredible the racing industry is when I walk into #prishow2025 .These folks LIVE to race and it just motivates me so much to get out there with yall and spend more time in our Pro Formula Mazda AND Secret drift car 👀.
That said, MartiniWorks has taken every hour of every minute in 2025 so I need you to hold me accountable to DRIVE more (& I’ll do the same for you) Deal?

I was wrong about Genesis (let me explain) 👀
I headed over to France for the #GV60 Reveal and was met with not just that car, but MASSIVE news for their GMR Racing Program, new concept cars like the Magma GT (it has a V8!), The Wagon Wingback surprise reveal, and of course spent time on the Paul Ricard Circuit with the GV60 which is just silly.
The GV60 has a 650hp / 790 ft lbs of torque on tap with a E-LSD but the coolest thing is that you can put it in “manual” mode that lets you use the flappy paddles. It’ll even “cut”power in-shift to give you that same feedback as if you were driving a IC sports car. The power delivery is insane and the 400mm brakes help hide the weight super well.
But the whole weekend humbled me on just what Genesis is doing right now. Genesis is investing in Motorsport. They’re doing rad car releases like the GV60. They’re committed to GT racing and honestly, that makes me stoked because brands who invest in racing are brands worth supporting but maybe that’s just on me for not seeing it earlier.
But which car drop is your favorite from this weekend? Lmk ⬇️

SEMA’s all about catching up with old friends and meeting new ones 🫶
I’m so excited to be back in the show that started it all for me. From the incredible brands to the rad peoples, SEMA really is the heart of the aftermarket space.
