THIS is the biggest Miata meet in the world… 👀

Cars have a way of bringing people together and feeling a kind of way you can’t explain and that was in full swing at Miata’s At The Gap (including Gregg getting motion sickness on a drive, rip 💀)

The folks here never made me feel like a stranger; taking me out for night runs and helping me understand the organized chaos that is the GREATEST week for Miata owners.

And getting to celebrate here with Mazda, who’s putting me into grassroots racing with our very own garage-built Spec MX5 that starts THIS WEEK, tells me we’re starting this racing journey the right way 😁

But the real question that I asked (and didn’t get a conclusive answer) is WHICH generation Miata is the best? LMK belowwww <3

I think I owe Genesis an apology…

We spent a week together where I got to try Andong Guksi, walked the Bukchon Hanok village, visited the largest auto factory IN THE WORLD (1 car made every 9.6 seconds) and had proper Korean BBQ (it was insane).

The goal was to experience the culture behind ‪@GenesisUSA‬ new car; a 600+ HP, dual-motor, functional canard-from-factory GV60 with an added brooch to the name; Magma.

We saw this back in France a few months back and I promised myself I would drive it. Jacky Ickx said it was “proper” and I have to agree with him with the small adder that at the right price, this will be a near-perfect daily driver at a fraction of the price of “other” super EV SUVs 👀

The front looks almost identical to the concept, the interior is top notch, and the virtual gear shift is not gimmicky at all. It had me remembering when I was doubtful that a KDM brand could truly lock in an original design language and now i’m eating crow because this thing is gorgeous.

My first Nurburgring 24hr with new friends! 🙏

it’s been decided that B & I will be staying up ALL 24 hrs to experience the racing, culture, and as my new friends say “da bier” which I’m so stoked for.

This weekend honestly felt fake 😭

A few days ago we were in Wisconsin planning a normal work week… next thing you know we’re flying across the country, driving Lamborghinis through California, spending the weekend at Laguna Seca, and then immediately flying back home to host our own MartiniWorks event.

The whole thing was basically airport food, carrying camera gear everywhere, editing on no sleep, and trying to actually enjoy the moment while it was happening 😭

But somewhere in the middle of all of it you kinda stop and realize this is exactly why we do this stuff.

We’re larping with @lamborghini this weekend for Super Trofeo! 😮‍💨

Since we’re only here for 24 hours, they gave us the Temerario to get around and dude, this thing boogies.

The power delivery with the V8, twin turbos, and three electric motors feels like at any moment you could blip the throttle and immediately feel like you’re drinking water from a fire hydrant. I love it (Blu Marinus Matte on Terra Kapnos also is 🥵🥵)
