One month ago, we asked who you thought would triumph in the Heineken Champions Cup. A whopping 55% of you backed Toulouse, while 30% were certain Leinster had it in the bag. La Rochelle? Only 11% thought they stood a chance. Oh, how the tables have turned! 🔄
In a true David vs. Goliath fashion, La Rochelle shocked the rugby world by claiming the trophy, proving that the underdog should never be underestimated!
Our journey to the final saw favorites Toulouse bow out in the semi-finals to Leinster, and Exeter fell to La Rochelle. The final was a thrilling rollercoaster! Leinster raced out of the blocks, scoring three lightning-quick tries. But La Rochelle, against all odds, staged an incredible comeback to seal an unforgettable victory.
