I spent hours editing today, trying to get a fun tech review out before Black Friday but my Da Vinci Resolve project has started repeatedly crashing 😥It's looking like I'll have to start with a new project and HOPE it doesn't happen again. Ah, well, it's out of my hands.

I had intended to get a video out this week but I am absolutely slammed with work and am actually working overtime this weekend 🙃 I feel bad trimming down my schedule and then immediately missing a post, but this is just how things lined up. I'm working on a fun video now that I'm hoping to get out sometime in the next week AND I've also got my 4-year streaming anniversary on Twitch coming up on twitch.tv/savallion. On June 9, 10, and 11 I'll be doing longer livestreams to celebrate and I'll have a fun mystery announcement at the beginning.

TL;DR: sorry there won't be a video this weekend but I hope you'll stick around for some other exciting things.

Hi friends! I'm skipping this week's video to relax for the holidays. I got behind on a lot of things in my life with the hectic past few months and I think I've earned a little break. ALSO, I had planned to do another dev vlog this week, but I have been encountering some odd issues with my recent upgrade to Blender 4 that I wasn't really expecting and being baffled by export bugs doesn't make for great content 😅🔥 So please enjoy this silly screenshot of some of the weird rig export issues and I will be back next week!

First ever community post! Woooo.
My schedule this week is a little wild! Since I posted 2 videos last week to line up with my shop relaunch, I am not going to post a proper video this week but instead I will pepper in my Dredge VoDs over the weekend.These will all be in a playlist together that you can enjoy (or ignore) as you like! I'm going to be including some of my Twitch VoDs on YouTube like this, mostly for story games that I play start-to-finish and want to archive, not *every* game I stream.

I'm also going to start working on some ✨GODOT✨content and a fresh game dev project. I think that will be my next step after mulling over the Unity news. I could continue working on my current game, or even try to port it to another engine, but I was losing energy pretty rapidly *before* the Unity news, and it was kind of the straw that broke me. I may come back to this game idea someday but for now it's going into a mysterious trunk that I will hide in the attic and maybe find again someday.
