4 weeks ago I started the most incredible quest: becoming a mom! 🐥

You guys were right, this is a very fulfilling, yet consuming mission! Days seem to go by very fast, so I am trying to cherish every moment!

I am finding myself consuming a lot of audiobooks (courtesy of nursing during the night)! So would appreciate if you could also share great audiobooks!

So far I listened to: Isles of the Emberdark (good, but not great?), The Knight and the Moth (meh), Of Darkness and Light (probably the best one!), The Immortality Thief (really enjoyed this one!) and The Thirteenth Child (meh)!
Note my brain is mush haha so it might be that all these books are awesome and it's just me.

I am still on maternity leave, but hoping to go back to filming sometime this month!

I feel exactly as this image portrays! 🐣 Scared and excited at the same time!

It's hard to believe I am already at the end of my pregnancy! Phew!

These last few weeks, I've been reading new releases! Really wanted to get to The Devils (I thought this would be a massive hit for me!) as well as Bury Our Bones In the Midnight Soil (I usually love Schwab's stories so couldn't wait).

Meh. Both were kind of okay, but none are going to make it into my best of the year. HOW SAD!

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but well - both are okay reads! (Enjoyed the Devils a bit than Bury Our Bones).

I guess I am still not over the Raven Scholar!

Baby is almost here! 🐣 - how exciting but also ahhhhhh!

As you might have seen, I've been slowly reducing my content these last few weeks (from 1 per week to 2 per month!). This is the schedule I'm aiming towards as I try to enjoy these last weeks, and I am getting ready for my new life as a mom!

I have content filmed (phew! that took a lot of time and energy, so I really hope you enjoy it!). You will see me here more often here in the posts to share news or books that I've loved lately!

SPEAKING OF WHICH- I've found a new favorite, and you all need to go and read The Raven Scholar! What an awesome read! I am quite hungover now after it! Hoping The Devils can help!

Also finished lately The Ember Blade (thanks ‪@the_fools_tale‬ for constantly recommending it!), as well as By Blood by Salt, the latest winner of the SPFBO and May's book club pick!

No video today! - but I am working on something big that is stealing my waking and sleeping hours ⬇️

I re-read The Way of Kings, first book of my favorite fantasy saga. And let me tell you: Sanderson REALLY has an ulterior purpose for every line.

I am determined to find all the references and fill major gaps! It will still take a while to get the light, but please know that I am investing a lot of effort and love (and I am also becoming slightly mad) trying to understand everything that happened here!

For example: I am already covering all the Unmade mentioned, the explanation of the epigraphs, visions,...
