People, sometimes being an entrepreneur sucks. So let me explain, you sign a contract, do the work/deliverables, contract says payment will be made within 5 days of completed work, why do I have to contact you several times, i.e over 4 weeks to get paid? So then I have to highlight the contract, state the facts, demand payment or else. This is ridiculous. Just pay me my money please. And yes, I have a DO NOT WORK with them again list! I see why people like traditional jobs because you know when and how much you will be getting paid every two weeks.

Yesterday I passed another certification!! I wasn’t gonna mention it, but I’m so proud of myself. I’m the oldest woman in the program/class. I have a lot of responsibilities and to be able to pass these certifications while taking care of them all is an accomplishment. Cybersecurity is like learning how to speak Japanese. It is a brand new language, seriously. I know I’ve said this before, but it’s never too late to make a change in your life. It’s never too late to do something for you and it is ok to challenge yourself. See how you can rise and shine! I’m seriously considering going back to college (maybe) 🤣🤣 I love learning!

I remember applying for food stamps when Gionni was around 1 or 2 and getting denied because I made $9 over the limit. I remember struggling and opening up credit cards to make ends meet. I remember paying for daycare and having $.10 left in my account and going to my car and crying before driving to work. I remember the peanut butter and jelly dinners and noodle dinners. I can’t thank God enough even though it was hard, it has shaped me into who I am today. Praise Him!
