Sephiroth in Smash hyped me beyond all reason! How are you guys enjoying him? His reach, his projectiles, his damage, that Octaslash! I'm fully diggin' it. He's obviously got a couple of design choices that seek to balance and keep him from just swinging his sword across half the screen, but despite that he still manages to have a strong kit imo.

E3 belongs to Square Enix, lol. Everything I saw for FF7R was practically exactly how I wanted it. Combat looks like it may actually exceed my expectation.


There's only ONE thing that might disappoint...
...The new voice cast/direction...
I'm a staunch believer in character portrayals being consistent if their performance is widely accepted and positive. Steve Burton's initial portrayal of Cloud was soooo spot on to me. He even sounded like a bit of a country boy which (of course) made perfect sense. For me his original voice work made the perfect Cloud. Jei feels the same way about Sephiroth and I'm inclined to agree.

Last FF7R trailer: Holy shit this game looks amazing! Characters are stunningly rendered and dynamic in combat! It's everything I wanted and more! ...But... 🤔

I love Pokémon and Nintendo... but Dynamax is rather stupid and lazy. Can we just return to mega evolution? At least that provided a different design to some of our favorite Pokémon. I absolutely do not need a giant Pikachu to win my matches.

Got hyped reading some of the extensive patch notes in the latest Smash Ultimate update.

Immediately salty when Cloud receives no notable buffs. Just one change.

Things I want:
- Easier auto cancel on DAir
-NAir to return to normal. It's been too severely gutted imo.
-Same with UAir. It needs it's early hitboxes back. It's way too trash on landing.

There's more of course, but those changes shouldn't be seen as broken.

I'm not sure how to even begin something like this... my grandma passed away recently and my family is in a bit of a crisis.

This isn't something I would normally do, I'm not even sure if this platform would bring in any aid at all. But I think I'd be more upset if I didn't at least try. Any help at all is appreciated, as it would alleviate stress from the family and help us safely give my grandma the rest she deserves.
