If 5% of my subscribers gave me $1 a month through my Patreon each, I'd be back to actively making videos by now. Unfortunately, so far it's at 0%. (wikipedia.jpg) Definitely only donate if you really want to and can miss a dollar or a pound but if you would like to see future videos and would like to support me, consider it. This is not a "donate or I won't make videos again" thing, it's more of a "help me make money off of my videos because ad revenue sucks for this type of content and I don't have the time and energy to juggle studies, work and videos all three due to my own personal hurdles" type of thing. Without going into too much detail, if I can cut down on a chunk of those activities thanks to Patreon revenue and make it viable to actively make videos again, I will. I'd probably enjoy that more, too.
But no expectations from me, I've still got a few things in the works, I just don't really have the energy or time for it these days due to priorities, and I've probably been on the tail end of a burn-out of some kind which I'm recovering from now.

Ad revenue is VERY limited (perhaps a few $ for a 100K views video) for this type of content
but I'd prefer not to have to excessively censor things to cater to ad placement, if possible.
Additionally, I'll also feature the names of all Patreon supporters at the end of each new video.




You're free in your choice whether to support or not, but it would help me a lot,
as a ton of time and energy in the past few years have gone into financial
and job/school matters, courses, learning skills aside from video creation,
and how active I'll be again on the channel partially depends on how well this will work.

The CaptainPlums channel is slated to make its return this year. No further details yet, but it's being planned and worked on. After the channel deletion fiasco of 2021 and burning out a bit on YTPs, and then retiring from them, I had to reflect on the channel's direction and decided a few changes were going to be needed. Look forward to more news on that later this year, and prepare to board the ship again...

Would you watch comedy-based and/or storytelling videos of mine in a different format that is NOT YTP? (I want to make content that is more my own) This would still be similar to the CaptainPlums you know, just without remixed content.

As I am figuring out the future of the channel and leaving behind YTP, I'm curious what your thoughts are.

The answers will not affect my overall decision in this, my choice to stop making YTPs is final. Whether I will continue under the CaptainPlums banner or not, however, is affected by this.

Hey all, hope you're doing well. Been thinking about the channel and am figuring out a potential future path for it, just ideas at the moment but I've got some concepts. There will be no more ytps, like previously announced, however I am looking into possibilities in regards to fully original content. For now, happy holidays and let's see where it goes.
