Just got the new Passive Stereo Mixer by muSonics and it's an AWESOME addition to my setup. No power cable needed, just a compact 1/4 mixer. Currently feeding it my giant modular, TR-8, Yamaha Montage and slot for one more stereo goodie to spare 😎

Hard pivot on the social media stuff for Jamnutz (wasn't having too much fun with that part of it and way too much scope creep), back to focusing on it mainly being a music making platform and spoiler alert- looking like phase 2 might be the gameboy advance game ;) Working super hard day and night to ship the web studio but still soo far away. MAJOR milestone today seeing my first music game running on Analog Pocket!

hey fam 👋
I'm a building a new social media music platform and it has me thinking about the Dawless Jammin' fb group I created a decade ago and what made it special- I think it was having a group of people with similar interest to nerd over gear with and learn new things at the same time. Overtime it kinda just became a place where people dump their jam videos (which is cool too) but I do notice there's not much engagement in that, only when conversation strikes do connections get made and true friendships are built.
My question to you is- what would you like to see in Jamnutz that you're not seeing here? Cause tbh- I hate Facebook, and Youtube, and pretty much all platforms that steal my attention and make me feel like I'm being pulled by an algorithm against my will, I know I'm not the only one.
Most home pages are trash and a dopamine loophole- I want to create a place that not only inspires to you make music but is fun to be on, not pulled by notifications and bs, but a place where you can make, share, sell your music AND connect with others in a way that doesn't happen on other platforms.
Anyways, here's the site- it's ALMOST READY and I would love to see you there!
If you have any suggestions or ideas that would like to see implemented comment below and I'll try my best to make them happen. I'm already working on live features where you can see others creating a beat, maybe voice memos, and many more cool stuff 🤘
