🍀 MY SOCCERVERSE WEEK: STILL TOP, BUT A EUROPEAN SETBACK

A mixed week for Celtic on the pitch, alongside some more activity building my influence portfolio.

⚽ Celtic’s results

✅ St Mirren 0–2 Celtic — 10 October
Daizen Maeda opened the scoring after 18 minutes, with Yang adding the second on 67 minutes. A clean sheet and another important league win.

❌ Celtic 1–2 Praha Black — 12 October
A disappointing European night. We conceded in the 21st and 25th minutes, and although Luis Palma pulled one back after 62 minutes, we couldn’t find an equaliser.
(FORGOT TO SET THE TEAM 🤦‍♂️)

🏆 Where we stand

Celtic remain top of the Scottish league with 41 points from 16 games, ahead of Rangers on 39. Our league record is 13 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat.

Europe is tougher: we’re now 5th in our group with 11 points from 9 matches. Our final group fixture is away at Stavanger on 26 October.

💰 My account and influence activity

- 11,659.70 SVC earned over the latest seven-day reporting period.
- 6,870 SVC in influence-sale proceeds reported over seven days. That’s sales income, not a claim of trading profit.
- Added 5,453 Fleetwood influence through its fundraiser, with 19,999.42 SVC recorded as the contribution.
- Obtained 15 Celtic packs, adding 600 Celtic influence, plus 150 each in Benfica, Burnley, Saint-Étienne, Valladolid, Lecce and Moskva Red&Blue.

Those are my personal account figures, separate from Celtic’s club finances.

🗳️ Celtic fundraiser proposal.. or hostile takeover bid !

A new proposal was opened this week (not by me) for 12,378 additional Celtic influence, with a 6,000,000 SVC minimum raise. Voting is scheduled for 21–28 October; it’s a proposal at this stage, not money already raised.

🔜 Coming up

- 17 October: Hibernian at home in the league.
- 19 October: Celtic II away in the Scottish Cup.
- 21 October: Rangers away in the league.

Still leading the title race, but a big stretch ahead. Time to bounce back in Europe’s aftermath and keep the domestic momentum going. Come on the Hoops! 🍀
