If you've ever been frustrated with teleprompter software, this one's for you.
Every prompter I've used has always frustrated me in one way or another: it scrolls at one speed, it doesn't have the options I need, you can't control the display from the controller window, it costs way too damn much! There was always something.
So I built PowerCue for the Mac. It's the prompter I wish I always had, all the functions I need for client work and solo YouTube work, it can listen as you speak and keeps the next line at the marker. Pause, and it waits. Ad-lib, and it picks you up at your next written line. The words light up karaoke-style as you say them, so you always know exactly where you are. Editing the text is super easy, controls on the secondary display not on the prompter like some solo prompter apps. It's a nice mix of a professional prompter and streamlined solo prompter.
It has all the tools a professional prompter operator would need built in: numbered jump markers, screen directions your talent never reads by accident, mirror flip for beam-splitter glass, an on-screen timer, Word import.
There is a the free PowerCue Companion for iPhone and iPad. Mount the phone at the lens and it mirrors the Mac prompter in perfect lock-step, same line breaks, same highlight. The phone can even be the microphone.

Holy Moly! I'm super excited about the next PowerEQ update! In the process of trying to solve a huge FCP bug, I stumbled on a new path that not only fix that but it opens up the plugin for DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro! (still Mac Only, but a windows version is also now possible!)
NOT ONLY THAT!! Now the plugin is faster, more stable, and I can add in a realtime frequency Spectrum and Meters! Can't wait to share this with you all. It's going to a free update to everyone that purchased the plugin, and there will still be a 7 day free trail. FYI, this will be a whole new plugin, (it has to be, but the code is much cleaner) so any projects that you have used with the current plugin won't be affected.
