Ya know, life has been life’n lately. 😂 It’s been stressful, and I know I’ve got to do whatever it takes to bring myself some comfort and consistency through it all.

Sometimes ya gotta just do what needs to be done instead of trying to get EVERYTHING checked off the list. I’m not saving lives here, and the weight of the world isn’t on my shoulders. 🤓

So I’m gonna do what I do best as much as I can… I’m gonna be leisurely. 😜 And I’m reminding myself that everything will still be okay.

Maybe somebody else needs to hear this, too. ❤️

We have hit a huge MILESTONE! We've reached 20,100 subscribers! I have to give a big shout out to all my MODS and to all the fine folks that support me on this little channel of mine. You guys are the best! I never knew that things would take off like this. In just one short year and a half I went from 300 subscribers to 20k!!! WOW!!

Sunday - let’s end the weekend with Oktoberfest at Rusty Tractor Vineyards - Home of Sunset Lodge 12:30-3:30 I’ll be playing live music and there will be all kinds of food trucks and fun!

Life can be kind of funny…

I remember a time when I had a few people who, in not so many words, made me feel like my voice wasn’t “good enough.” Or I’d hear things like, “Oh, Christine is a great guitarist…”—just different ways of putting me down or keeping me in my place…at least that’s how it felt.

It’s crazy how much that affected me. I definitely struggled with wanting to keep singing, but I did it anyway. I kept working on my control and my tone, and most importantly, I started making peace with the sound of MY voice.

I guess, overall, it’s been a journey of learning to love myself.

And now, my voice is literally one of the first things I get complimented on every time I play.

I know I can’t be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay. I’m just really happy with where I am and who I am. And I’m so glad I never stopped doing what I love because of a few critics.

Sometimes, the thing people make you question about yourself ends up becoming one of the things you’re most proud of. ❤️
