I thought, “Let it go. The toxic people are leaving the fandom anyway.”

But then I started seeing the SAME thing everywhere.

“Which group should we stan?”
“Not BLACKPINK, they’re racist.”
“Three Black, one Pink.”
“BLACKPINK SUPPORT RACISTS.”
And under literally every BLACKPINK video:

“You support racists.”

At this point, some people aren't even discussing the situation anymore. They're just recycling an accusation until they hope everyone accepts it as a fact. 😭

So let's clear a few things up.

🧠 FIRST OF ALL: HOW EXACTLY DID YOU DECIDE THEY'RE RACIST?

A clip circulated online claiming that BLACKPINK members used a racial slur.

But has it actually been established beyond doubt that the footage is authentic, complete and unedited?

No.

And before someone says, “But a 12-year-old girl leaked it!”

And?

A person's age doesn't give a video a magical “100% VERIFIED — CANNOT BE EDITED” stamp. 😭

Videos can be cropped.
Videos can be cut.
Audio can be changed.
Context can disappear.

So why are people treating an internet clip like it came directly from a courtroom?

Where is the original context? Where is the full footage? Where is the actual verification?

You can't take an unverified clip, remove every possibility of context, and then announce:

“CASE CLOSED. THEY'RE RACIST.”

PLEASE. 💀

🖤 AND LET'S TALK ABOUT THE SONG ITSELF.

The lyrics being discussed were written by a Black artist, and BLACKPINK were trainees at the time.

So if the words were part of a song they were performing, why are people completely ignoring the context surrounding the lyrics?

If they were simply performing lyrics written for a song, you cannot automatically transform that into:

“They personally believe this about Black people.”

That's an enormous leap.

And even IF someone believes they said the word themselves rather than merely performing lyrics, there is still a massive difference between:

“Someone used a racist word.”

and

“Therefore this entire person is permanently racist and everything they've ever done means nothing.”

Those are NOT the same statement.

💀 AND HERE'S THE PART THAT REALLY GETS ME...

So apparently one alleged moment is enough to erase YEARS of everything else?

One moment and suddenly:

Their collaborations don't matter.
Their support doesn't matter.
Their relationships with Black artists don't matter.
Their contributions don't matter.
Their respect toward Black artists doesn't matter.
Everything good they've ever done apparently gets deleted from existence.

WHAT KIND OF LOGIC IS THAT? 😭

If a person makes one mistake, do we seriously decide that mistake is their entire identity forever?

If someone has genuinely done something wrong, criticize the action.

But deciding that one disputed incident completely defines four human beings is not justice.

It's just lazy judgment.

🖤💗 “BUT THEY SAID THE N-WORD!”

Okay.

Even if you believe the clip is authentic, that STILL doesn't automatically prove:

“BLACKPINK ARE RACIST PEOPLE.”

A word can be offensive and a person's use of it can be wrong without that automatically proving their entire character, beliefs and intentions.

Context matters.

Intent matters.

History matters.

And the actual evidence matters.

You cannot skip all of those steps and jump straight to:

“RACIST. CANCEL THEM.”

That's not critical thinking.

That's a Twitter trial. 💀

AND PLEASE STOP WITH “THREE BLACK, ONE PINK.”

You're literally trying to call someone racist while using racial labels against them as a fandom insult.

Do you hear yourselves?

Calling Jennie, Rosé and Lisa “Black” as a punishment and Jisoo “Pink” because you claim she didn't say the word isn't some genius anti-racism statement.

You're reducing human beings to race as an insult.

The irony is doing backflips. 🤦‍♀️

🗣️ AND TO EVERYONE SAYING “YOU'RE SUPPORTING RACISTS”:

No.

I'm supporting BLACKPINK.

And I'm refusing to accept an unverified accusation as an established fact.

There is a difference.

BLACKPINK are not above criticism.

But neither are they automatically guilty just because a viral clip is circulating.

And if someone genuinely cares about racism, then they should want truth, not just another weapon for a fanwar.

Don't let people convince you that:

“One alleged incident = their entire personality.”

BLACKPINK have spent years working with artists from different backgrounds, including Black artists, and showing love and support within the music industry.

Does that mean they're magically incapable of ever making a mistake?

No.

But it DOES mean you cannot seriously look at one disputed incident and pretend you've discovered the complete truth about four people.

People are more complicated than one clip.

And no, I'm not going to sit here while people rewrite BLACKPINK's entire history because of one controversy.

🖤💗 SO HERE'S MY QUESTION:

If someone has done countless good things and makes ONE mistake...

Are we really going to pretend every good thing they ever did suddenly disappears?

One mistake does not erase an entire person.

And in THIS situation, we're not even talking about a proven, fully contextualized incident.

We're talking about a circulating clip that people are treating as unquestionable evidence.

So maybe stop screaming “RACIST” for five seconds and actually ask:

“What do we KNOW?”

Because apparently that's too difficult for some people. 😭

And to the people commenting under my videos:

“You're supporting racists.”

No.

I'm supporting four artists while refusing to participate in a hate train built on assumptions.

You can dislike BLACKPINK.

You can criticize BLACKPINK.

You can stan whoever you want.

But you DON'T get to turn an unverified controversy into a permanent label and then demand everyone else accept your conclusion.

That's not accountability. That's a fandom witch hunt.

And honestly?

If your entire argument is based on a short clip and a comment section telling you what you're supposed to think...

Maybe the problem isn't BLACKPINK. Maybe it's the lack of critical thinking. 💀
