Visa Run Orchestra is a Bali-born narrative pop act blending satire, musical theatre, tropical ambition and the eternal dream of starting over under a better sun.
Created by Anthony Morabito, VRO explores the strange, vivid and slightly unhinged theatre of island life through songs, characters and stories: dreamers, drifters, spiritual entrepreneurs, accidental millionaires, padel kings, beautiful disasters and everyone who came for a month but never quite left.
Alongside the songs of the Bali Musical, the City Layovers offer cinematic musical postcards inspired by cities across Asia.

Visa Run Orchestra was born in Bali.
Somewhere between music, comedy, tropical ambition, late-night conversations, strange friendships, beautiful illusions, and the eternal human dream of starting a new life under a better sun.
This project is my playground.
A place for music, satire, stories, and characters inspired by the strange little universe that forms around Bali: dreamers, founders, drifters, lovers, spiritual entrepreneurs, accidental millionaires, beautiful disasters… and the occasional lost soul who came to heal and somehow became part of the story.
Our odyssey begins with two songs.
One opens the door to a faction: Bali Bule Society — a world of charm, vanity, seduction, spectacle, and soft madness.
The other introduces a character our hero will have to face: the Padel King — part businessman, part guru, part local myth, ruling his court like a tropical god in white sneakers.
Visa Run Orchestra is about music, imagination, satire, and positive energy.
