I've once again used my free time to make a lil' something - in order to fill in the time it'll take to get my laptop fixed up and running again.
I was planning on doing some very basic visuals for this video; but I worked on this video for over 12 hours, and I was too exhausted to continue - so I hope you can understand that, hah.
https://youtu.be/Txn-N7Je504 Whilst my laptop's been gone, I've decided to compile some of the samples that I've found watching stuff in my free time, and test them out in a small YTPMV to see how they are-- as well as my mixing skills, hah.
I know it's not much, or anything special - but I hope it can be at least something to comfort your wait for my next few videos.
I've now recieved the news that my laptop is completely broken; and that there's no other options, than to replace it.
The graphics card was unscrewed and damaged, and is virtually impossible to individually replace, without having the equipment to do so.
I'll have to save up about £1,500+ to be able to replace my old laptop - meaning that my current videos will be pushed back *even further* than before.
Doing this will take me months to save up - so please try to bear with me, for the time being. I'm sorry that this is happening.
So, change of plans with this video: I was initially going to complete my TomSka YTP*MV* before the 25th of October, so I could show it to Tom at the upcoming London MCM Comic Con-- hence why I set myself a deadline for this video.
Now, since I've not been able to work- nor complete said project- when I get my laptop back, I'll work on getting this uploaded as quick as I can, while keeping a high level of quality to the whole video's production.
I think what I'm going to do is finish this, whenever that will be, and then show it to him at the next event, in May of 2026, which is very close to his channel's 20th anniversary, and I think that it would be much nicer and more appropiate timing to show him my tribute what he's done for me, and many more.
So, after 16 days of not having a laptop to edit on, I've got informed by the repair shop that I went to that they couldn't fix anything, and that I'd collect my laptop- which is still broken... [and they still charged me £20, for a repair job which was not even completed.]
So, yeah. I'm pretty much at a loss of what to do rn, and am just announcing that the videos that I'm currently working on atm are going to take a much longer time to publish than I initially anticipated.
I've been seeming to be stuck in this pattern
of not being able to make anything due to
uncontrollable circumstances happening-- and I'm
trying very hard to get on top of that, but it's been overwhelmingly hard.
I'm sorry that the expectations of me uploading onto this YouTube channel are very low right now.
Hey, so my laptop's screen has suddenly completely died as of 12 days ago.
I'm currently under a strict deadline for this specific project-- and with this happening so near my deadline, I'm trying to get this sucky thing sorted, as quickly as possible--
As you can tell though; it's not been easy to get this to be a snappy recovery - so, I'm not sure how the final video will turn out to be, given these circumstances.
Here are some more previews of what I'm currently working with, at the moment! I've currently got nearly a minute of visuals ready to render, and am very proud of them!
Heyo. What's up? Apologies that I wasn't able to upload anything this week! I was actually working on a YTP a few weeks ago, that I was planning to upload in the near-future, but I've had setbacks-- which has prevented me in not finishing it
I'm also currently in the process of moving all of my applications to my laptop - as Vegas 21 [my primary editor] decided to just stop working on my PC- and to transfer everything that I have will take a few days, at least.
Also, I'm working on a long-term project right now, and I'm hoping that it'll be out by the end of October, along with a Behind The Scenes video as a bonus, hah.
