A lot of you guys are upset with my latest video. Warning me about the dangers of digital seed storage yet, I'm sure, many of you are perfectly content with putting several hundred dollars of BTC in a hot wallet on your phone. That hot wallet is storing your seed in a encrypted file (hopefully) directly on your phone. So, in essence, every single person that utilizes a hot wallet, or browser wallet, is unwittingly performing this same experiment. Go ahead, throw $100 in a hot wallet and see what happens. This is a (relatively poorly designed) experiment to test the effectiveness of modern encrypted digital storage. The same as what you have in your Metamask, Trust or Phantom wallet. I am not making a suggestion that anyone else try this, particularly with a significant amount of funds. I am cautiously optimistic that this will work. 😬 If you look at the transaction date, the seed phrase has been online for 15 days already and no breach...yet. Let's see if we can make it to 30 days huh? Stay safe and stack Sats!
