Eliab thought David had come to watch. He did not know that David had come carrying an answer to a battle that had intimidated an entire army.
This is the burden of assignment: sometimes you will enter a place where your coming is questioned before your purpose is understood. Those who know your history may interpret your present through the limitations of your past. But you must not allow the perception of men to make you abandon the conviction God has placed within you.
David did not spend the day explaining himself. He kept moving. His answer was not in argument... It was in Obedience.
There comes a time when the only explanation your assignment needs is its Fruit.
And as for me, I remain a servant of my Master. Let men say what they will; my responsibility is to hear Him, obey Him, and fulfil what He has entrusted to me.
I did not come to watch the battle. I came to fight and win for Yaweh!
