I would like to share my passion for historical fencing with you. In this channel you will find lots of ideas for your own interpretations and fencing styles. I always try to be conform to the source, but still be practically applicable. My interpretations are not set in stone and therefore change from time to time. This channel can be your inspiration and I would be happy if you follow me on my journey through this wonderful art.

My channel has reached 5000000 views and to celebrate this with you I have made a very special video with an even more special sword: a reversed falchion, a true orc sword.
By the way, I'm really proud of my loyal community. Our views consist of less than 5% youtube shorts which means that you give the channel a lot of playtime, we don't criticize other people's content or make reaction videos (even though I know that this attracts a lot of attention) and we don't need lightsabers either. Nevertheless, you always tune in and enjoy the chilling content... thank you very much!

Now it's official. I am this year's longsword champion of the German Federation for Historical Fencing.
You wouldn't believe how happy I am to have won this title. At the same time, this great victory also marks the end of my tournament ambitions. 4 years in the national squad and dozens of tournaments in which I stood on the podium 27 times. All in all, great memories and experiences that have massively improved my fencing. The biggest gain, however, are the many friendships that have been made on the trips and through training and fencing together, for which I am very grateful.
But now I'm going to cut back on tournaments as I want minimize my risk for injury to stay fit for my wonderful job. Not saying that the risk of a bigger injury is high - our tournament fencing is still a relatively safe, injury-free sport. But as they say... you should stop when it's at its best. Which it definitely is!

Alright... even though I'm very busy at the moment, I should probably make a vid or two for you, as long as I have some real originals with me! Longsword around 1600 and a really rare reversed Malchion around 1400... what do you think :D
