Alhamdulillah, right after the Isha prayers had concluded, Habib Musa Al-Kazhim Bin Ja’far al-Saggaf also visited Masjid Abdul Gafoor.

In relation to the topic, “Being Calm in a Storm,” Habib Kazhim explained that difficulties serve as examinations of one’s spiritual commitment, particularly during challenging periods.

Throughout history, Prophets, religious scholars, and pious individuals maintained their steadfastness when facing hardships by focusing on divine remembrance, exercising patience, and holding unwavering belief.

Habib then emphasised that spiritual practices such as iktikaf (secluded worship), dhikr (remembrance of God), and contemplation of sacred teachings strengthen our relationship with Allah ﷻ and develop inner spiritual fortitude.

Through practices such as iktikaf (spiritual retreat), dhikr (divine remembrance), studying the biographies and extraordinary events in the lives of Prophets and saints, and visiting places of spiritual significance, Muslims can cultivate greater spiritual resilience.

The talk highlights the powerful illustration of the Prophet ﷺ instructing Mount Uhud to be still—demonstrating spiritual mastery and unwavering determination.

In essence, unshakable conviction (yaqin), perseverance (sabr), and ongoing remembrance of Allah constitute the essential elements for maintaining steadfastness during turbulent times approaching the end of days.
