Status Report: very high on pain relief. probably shouldn’t be making public posts like this but oh well…
It’s been a very long 7 weeks. Had surgery again today to get the metal removed from my hand now the bone has healed in one piece. Doc says alignment is as if it’d never been broken so that’s a big relief. Just in a lot of pain post surgery and probably another couple weeks still before I can really start moving it. Looking forward to hand physio and hopefully playing guitar again soon(however short my play sessions will be).
Still not sure when I’ll be able to make videos again, but my #1 goal is to get back to it. Moving my big heavy camera around and then using my mouse for potentially 30+ hours in a week is just going to be a big step to get back to with this particular injury. This has been awful.
Still thinking about yall all the time while I’m stuck doing nothing. I have big plans for big videos that I can’t wait to put to film hopefully soon. Please keep watching back through my videos, and hopefully my channel will stay somewhat relevant for when I inevitably come back.

Honestly the last 5-6 weeks have been a very difficult time. With my dominant hand in a cast and even slight movements causing pain due to the metal under my skin I’ve found myself pretty much unable to do anything. I still can’t use a computer, still can’t move or operate my big, heavy camera, still can’t play guitar. I’ve just been killing time reading and watching movies, something that feels hopelessly unnatural to me as an extreme workaholic. Though to be fair I probably did need some time off, this is not what I had in mind.
At least there is a light on the horizon - I’m FINALLY getting the metal removed around the 10-12th of November, and after that the physio begins and I can start to actually recover. Hopefully a week or two after that I can start working on new content again!
I wanted to thank everyone for your continued support, your memberships both here and over on Buymeacoffee have helped to keep this ship afloat.
In other unrelated news, finally got my guitar back from the luthier! I’ve attached a few glamour shots below. Can’t wait to play it again in a few weeks when I get out of this cast.

I have made the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow’s stream till next week. I wish I had some great excuse but the truth is I’m just not feeling up for it yet. I’m in pain, and my head is still a mess from strong painkillers. I’m trusting my gut here and focussing on recovering, as much as it annoys me.
