Welcome to Dark Cinema — where the body count is always rising.
I make Kill Count videos covering horror, action, and war films, counting every on-screen kill and breaking down the most intense, brutal, and unforgettable moments along the way. If it’s violent, shocking, or pushes the limits, I’m here to tally it—one kill at a time.

Expect:
😈 Kill Counts (Horror • Action • War)
🔪 Every Death explained (how, when, and why it counts)
💥 Explosions, shootouts, creature features, slashers, and depraved cinema

From Bone Tomahawk to Extraction, from war-zone carnage to pure nightmare fuel like Terrifier, I track the kills, summarize the chaos, and keep the tally honest—on-screen deaths, confirmed victims, and the most jaw-dropping scenes.

Subscribe for regular Kill Count videos and the grim stats you didn’t know you needed.

Some movies don't have any kills for the first 30–40 minutes. For my videos, should I skip the slow beginnings?

The latest video is up now — Evil Dead Burn has officially entered the Den of Despair.

Deadites, bad decisions, family trauma, and enough chaos to make every sensible person avoid old books forever. This one goes hard, and I break down every major death, attack, and “why would you touch that?” moment.

If you’re into Evil Dead, possession horror, and absolute supernatural carnage, go check it out now.

Quick note about the HUD size:

I’ve seen the feedback that the HUD looks like it takes up too much screen space, and I totally get why it can feel that way from a still image.

But in the actual videos, the movie itself is not filling the entire frame. The image is shifted upward, so the HUD sits mostly in the unused lower space rather than covering the movie. The goal is to keep the film visible while still giving the edit that arcade/game-style presentation.

I’m still adjusting the designs and listening to feedback, but I wanted to show the layout clearly so it makes more sense. The HUD is meant to enhance the format, not block the movie.

Appreciate everyone pointing it out — I’m refining it as I go.

There really haven’t been many recent movies lately that feel worth doing a full Kill Count for.

A lot of newer releases either don’t have enough carnage, don’t have memorable kills, or just don’t feel like they would make a strong video. So I’ve been thinking about going back to something older that actually deserves the breakdown.

Would you watch a District 9 Kill Count?

It’s not a traditional horror movie, but it has sci-fi violence, body horror, alien chaos, corporate cruelty, and some seriously brutal moments. Plus, it’s one of those movies that still feels unique years later.

I’m curious if people would be interested in seeing older movies covered when the newer releases aren’t delivering.

Should I do District 9?

Sooo… my House of the Dragon Season 3 Episode 1 Kill Count really bombed.

Not quite Supergirl 2026 levels of “what happened here?” but yeah… close enough that I noticed. 😅

I was honestly hoping there would be more interest in covering House of the Dragon content on the channel, but it feels like maybe this just isn’t what most of you are here for.

So I’ll leave it up to you:

Do you want more House of the Dragon kill counts, or should I move on?

A lot of horror fans have been asking around the community for a full breakdown/kill count of Bambi: The Reckoning lately... Did you know we actually dropped ours a few weeks back?

Well… here we go again.

My Mortal Kombat 2 video is being re-edited and re-uploaded.

The original version ran into one of those classic YouTube problems where the entire video suddenly becomes “too hot to handle,” so now I have to go back in, cut it down, change the footage, rework sections, and try to get it back up in a version that can actually stay on the channel.

It’s frustrating, because a lot of time went into that video, and it sucks having to rebuild something that was already finished. But I don’t want the video to disappear, so I’m doing what I have to do.

The reupload is coming soon. It may look a little different, some parts may be edited more aggressively, and certain clips may be shorter than planned — but the breakdown is still coming back.

If you already watched, thank you. If you missed it, the new version is on the way.

Appreciate everyone who supports the channel through these annoying behind-the-scenes headaches. This is the side of YouTube viewers usually don’t see, but creators deal with it constantly.

🔥 Mortal Kombat 2 reupload coming soon.

Most people have probably never heard of Meat Kills (2025) — and honestly, that is exactly why I wanted to cover it.

This is a small Dutch horror movie that comes out of nowhere and hits with the kind of brutality you usually expect from something like the Terrifier series. It is violent, nasty, uncomfortable, and way more extreme than I expected going in.

The full members-only version is now live, and this is definitely one of those videos where the public YouTube upload is going to be a problem. I will have to heavily edit, censor, cut around, and tone down a lot of the footage just to make it safe for YouTube.

So if you want to see the version that gets as close as possible to the real breakdown before the public release gets cleaned up, the members-only version is available now.

This is the kind of unknown horror movie that deserves way more attention — and if you like extreme horror, this one is worth checking out.
