Season 6 Quality of Life Changes

Traffic Changes

After many, many, moons of you guys asking for it we are making a change to the traffic during the Summit Feats.
There will no longer be traffic during feats in the Summit Contest.
Feats outside of the Summit Contest are unchanged and still contain traffic.

Challenge Improvements:
Vehicle management has been added to the challenge menu and to notifications.
Main Stage Challenges:
A notification will prompt you to equip the correct vehicle for the challenge and will play a sound effect upon equipping.
A notification will redirect you to the bundle of the vehicle if you do not own it.
Improved Reward Pending UI
Reward pending notification will be more prominent on your screen.

Hide Collectibles Option:
Players can turn on an option to hide any of their collectible icons already collected on the map.
Upon collecting your next collectible in-game, a tip will be triggered to inform you that you can hide collected collectibles in the options menu.

Photo Quest Fast Travel:
Players who have unlocked the fast travel feature can now fast travel to their completed Photo Quest locations.

Collectibles Feedback:
Upon collecting a collectable, the camera will now highlight what you have collected before returning to your current POV.

PVP Changes

We workshopped with players to improve the PvP for The Crew Motorfest and we're happy to announce we are bringing new events and regular boosts to the Grand Race.

PvP Events

We're making some tweaks to PvP events in The Crew Motorfest to incentivize participation, replay ability, and reduce frustrations and improve the overall experience.
Weekly Themed Grand Races:
Every week a new themed Grand Race will be available
Grand Race Boosts:
Regular boosted Grand Races will be available with increased XP and Bucks earned.
No Collision Events:
§ Regular weekly events with no collision between vehicles for Grand Race.
New Weather Conditions:
New weather conditions will be in rotation for Grand Race.
All Day Modifiers:
Every Saturday, Grand Race modifiers will be active for the whole day from 9am UTC onwards, until the next day 9am UTC.
Dynamic No Collision Mode:
When driving below a certain speed, you won't cause collisions with other racers in Grand Race.
Grand Race Flow:
You don't have to wait 30 seconds to finish a GR anymore. Once cross the finish line, you can jump straight into a new Grand Race.
Main Stage Grand Race Modifier:
A modifier will be available for Grand Race so that players can only use vehicles from the Main Stage

Season 5 Vehicles:

28 new additions throughout the season. Rewards, shop additions and pass vehicles.

Upcoming shop additions:

Ivory Tower releases another new unique vehicle, a muscle styled cruiser called the Ogmios. There are 2 editions so far, The Chase Squad Edition earnable Day 1 and the normal for sale edition on November 13th.

Rimac Nevera Hypercar (2021) available day 1

Porsche 911 GT3 RS ST2 (2023) available day 1

Proto A-500 Helicopter available day 1 via shop & import

Year 2 pass holders: Up to 9 vehicles will be added Day 1. (Some may need to be rewarded through chase squad progression) Each month after, 1 vehicle will drop with 7 day early access (except in March and July of 2025. Those will be 2 playlist starters available to everyone those 2 months without the 7 day exclusivity as show.

Rearview Mirrors: A significant and long-awaited update, rearview mirror functionality will provide players with improved situational awareness, giving a better view of competitors and the environment behind them.
Available on New Gen Consoles and PC Only.

View Parts in the Car List: Players will soon be able to see installed car parts directly from their car list, simplifying the process of managing and optimizing vehicle setups.
Prestige Tickets in the Summit: While not a quality-of-life change but instead a new feature, Prestige Tickets will be available to earn in the Summit for players completing challenges during the Summit.

RPG Enhancements

We are aiming improve the experience of our players that are always on the lookout to kit out their favourite vehicle in the best parts possible. Here's a quick rundown of some new features that we are hoping will achieve this.

Merging: A merging system will be introduced, allowing players to combine 3 parts of the same rarity, combining them into the same part of an upgraded rarity.
This allows players to farm Legendary parts of a specific type at a much faster rate in exchange for spare parts and bucks.
Legendary Set Half Bonuses: Legendary sets now have activation steps. This new system will reward players with 50% of the bonuses if they have 3 parts of a legendary set equipped and 100% of the bonus if they choose to equip the full set.
This will allow players the opportunity of more flexibility and opportunities to maximize their performance in their own creative way.
This means you can combine the effects of 2 Legendary sets on the same vehicle, which was not previously possible.
