Prayer opens doors, but discipline walks through them. Many people pray for God to elevate them, but stay in habits that keep them small.
Do what you’re praying for. Become who you’re asking God to bless.
He rewards diligence.

Pray this with me:
Father, I surrender. Take my plans, my fears, my desires, and my battles. Lead me into Your will. Align my steps with Your purpose. Strengthen me to obey. I choose Your way not mine. Amen.
“Not my will, but Yours be done.” Luke 22:42

At Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus already knew resurrection was coming, yet He still wept. That moment reveals His heart. He didn’t rush to perform a miracle; He paused to share in the sorrow. Sometimes we try to "fix" people when they're broken, hurt and weeping; sometimes this results in fake smiles and fabricated healing. Sometimes we have to allow weeping to endure for a night, so that when joy comes, it can complete its perfect work in the morning. The shortest verse in the Bible, “Jesus wept,” carries infinite comfort. It means God understands pain. He doesn’t just heal from a distance; He draws near with empathy. His tears show that divine compassion is deeply human. When you cry, remember that you don’t cry alone. The same Jesus who wept then still weeps with those who grieve now. His kindness is found in His closeness.

A woman caught in adultery was thrown before Jesus, surrounded by accusers ready to stone her. The law demanded punishment but mercy knelt beside her. Jesus said, “Let the one without sin cast the first stone.” One by one, they dropped their stones. Kindness doesn’t excuse sin, it extends grace. Jesus offered her dignity instead of disgrace, freedom instead of fear. He still speaks that same kindness today: “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.” Grace lifts us out of guilt into a new beginning. The truth needs to set free, not condemn. The truth we speak needs to be accompanied by the grace of God so that it does not push believers away, but bring them closer to Christ.
Neither do I condemn you. John 8:11

At a well in Samaria, Jesus met a woman everyone else avoided. Her past was messy, her reputation broken yet Jesus didn’t condemn her. Instead, He offered living water that could quench her soul. Kindness looks like seeing value where others see failure. Jesus turned her shame into a testimony and that shook her entire city. His kindness restores worth to the weary and voice to the voiceless. No matter what you’ve done, Jesus still offers the same living water today grace that washes, love that lifts, and truth that transforms. Many people think being more like Jesus includes judgement and condemnation, but being more like Jesus is about grace and love. Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did.John 4:29

Don't ever make a mistake of denying access to Jesus for your children. The disciples thought children were a distraction, but Jesus saw them as treasures. He stopped, called them near, and blessed them one by one. I have never chased a parent out of service because of a crying child or a busy one, children are a blessing from the Lord. His kindness wasn’t selective it embraced the small, the weak, and the overlooked. By welcoming children, Jesus revealed the Father’s heart: simple faith, pure love, and open trust move Heaven. He showed that greatness in God’s kingdom begins with humility and tenderness. In a world that often ignores the innocent, Jesus made room for them. His kindness reminds us to honor every soul, no matter how small. Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them.Mark 10:14

The crowd was hungry and tired, and the disciples wanted to send them away. But Jesus said, “You give them something to eat.” His compassion refused to dismiss people’s needs. With just five loaves and two fish, He showed that kindness doesn’t wait for abundance it gives from what it has. Jesus looked to heaven, blessed what was available, and multiplied it. That’s what His kindness does it turns little into plenty. The same hands that healed also broke bread, reminding us that compassion is practical. When we offer our small acts of love, He multiplies them to touch many. Don’t underestimate what kindness can do. Your “little” can become someone’s miracle when placed in Jesus’ hands.

Zacchaeus climbed a tree hoping to see Jesus, but he didn’t know Jesus already saw him. While crowds pressed around, the Jesus' eyes found one small, rejected man hiding in shame. Jesus called him by name and said, “Come down, for I’m coming to your house today.” That’s kindness personal, intentional, and full of value. Zacchaeus had been labeled a sinner, a cheat, a thief. But Jesus didn’t define him by his past; He redefined him by grace. The kindness of Jesus doesn’t overlook people it seeks them out. You may feel overlooked, unnoticed, or forgotten, but Jesus knows your name and your story. His eyes still find the hidden hearts today. Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.Luke 19:5

Kindness isn’t just seen in what Jesus did, it’s seen in what He said while dying. As nails pierced His hands, and hatred surrounded Him, He uttered words no one expected: “Father, forgive them.” In that moment, mercy triumphed over vengeance. Jesus showed us that kindness is not weakness , t’s divine strength under suffering. He didn’t wait for an apology; He offered forgiveness freely. The kindness of Christ breaks cycles of pain and ends generations of bitterness. It teaches us that forgiveness is the highest form of love.
When you forgive those who hurt you, you reflect Jesus’ heart. You choose healing over hatred, compassion over retaliation. His cross wasn’t just a sacrifice, it was a statement that love is stronger than death.
Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do. Luke 23:34
