I’ve recorded my reaction to Sleep Token’s new song "Damocles." The sound is absolutely fine, but the video has a few tiny glitches—just some slight lag in places. I don’t do retakes as that would be in authentic, so I’m in two minds about whether to share it as it is.

What do you think? Should I upload it anyway?

Sorry for the lack of content lately.
A few people have reached out asking where I am—thank you for thinking of me. Unfortunately, my leg issue is still pretty bad, and next week I’ll find out if I need surgery. Fingers crossed it’s good news, but in the meantime I’m just taking things day by day.

So the mystery of the cat hair on my microphone is finally solved and the culprit is Baxter. I walked into my office this morning to see this. Genuinely, this is the first time I’ve caught him in the act. Did he care? No. Did he stop? No. So I had to gently escort him out.

I can’t believe this channel has just reached 10k subscribers! I’m so chuffed that so many fellow metalheads want to share this love of metal with me and exchange thoughts on the music that connect us all.

Your support meant so much when I lost Bruno, and I still tear up thinking about the kind words so many of you shared.

Not remotely surprised ‪@nightwish‬ was my top artist. From Storytime live at Wacken to Perfume of the Timeless, it’s been a Nightwish kind of year for me. However my other top were ‪@Sabaton‬, ‪@ElectricCallboy‬ & ‪@HansZimmer‬ …. I think we can safely say I have an eclectic taste in music.

Last night, I had the incredible pleasure of seeing ‪@tarjaofficial‬ and ‪@MARKOHIETALAOFFICIAL‬ live. Opting for the meet and greet was absolutely worth it—Tarja was sweet, kind, warm, and so generous with her time. After watching them in videos for years, it was surreal to experience it all from the front row. This was a huge milestone on my ‪@nightwish‬ journey. I was over the moon when they performed Nightwish classics like ‘I Wish I Had an Angel.’ If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend seeing them live. I’ll be sharing a follow-up video once I’ve had time to gather my thoughts! 🤘🤘🤘
