On February 15, 2025, after I went to the model train show in Costa Mesa, CA, I wanted to check out Arnies Model Trains store. While I was checking out the store which had very nice model engines and rolling stock I came upon the used section and I saw Metrolink EMD F59PHI 885. I knew that I had to get it cus I grew up watching these F59PHIs pass by whenever I leave my house so I got the engine for 40 bucks and it was worth it, so it’s great having this engine and the day that I got this engine will never forget.

A11 has a BNSF again and will be arriving later tonight and not to mention tomorrow’s A11 also has another BNSF so 2 days in a row for BNSF leaders on A11.

I’ve caught all 3 Dash 8s on the Pacific Surfliner within 3 months

1. 510 leading A777 on September 7.
2. 503 leading A580 at Union Station- September 21.
3. 509 trailing on A777 on November 26.
