Hey Fae Folk! Quick little update.

So in January I will not be taking a break, but I will be lightening my workload just a bit. I’ll still be posting a regular upload every Monday and a premiere every Friday, but for the month I’m going to skip my Wednesday uploads (the current plan is to resume come Feb but we will see).

Lots of factors went into this decision. I have a lot of video ideas that take more time, so it’ll be nice to not feel quite as much pressure to upload. But honestly mostly it’s just that behind the scenes I really need to be doing less for a bit 😅 Both my mental and physical health have been iffy to say the least (I’m going to be okay! Physical is getting WAY better and the mental stuff is more of the “it’s going to really suck to get through and heal” variety than an emergency) and I’ve been VERY overwhelmed.

I do know y’all would be perfectly supportive of me taking a full break (you guys are the best ♥️) but for now I want to at least give this a shot because while I definitely need to take some time to rest…I’ll be so BORED if I can’t talk dolls at all 😂

I will obviously keep you all updated should anything change schedule wise but that’s the plan for now. Thanks in advance for understanding 🥰

So…I think enough time has passed that I can go ahead and make this video public again.

For anyone who isn’t aware of why it was privated in the first place, I am sorry (because I get being curious) but I won’t be rehashing everything considering I never wanted it to go that way in the first place 🫠 The only reason I’ve decided to bring it back is because I honestly think it was a fairly good video and because people ASK about why I hate Frankie in g1. I didn’t make the video as a hit piece or anything, just to answer a question I’ve gotten a lot.

Suffice to say it got more backlash than expected and because of that I will be a little more cautious with the comments than I usually am. I would like to reiterate: this video is on MY opinions. You are perfectly welcome to disagree with me and debate RESPECTFULLY in the comments. What you are NOT welcome to do is suggest that I am being an awful hateful person for not liking a fictional character, or insult myself or others for what is ultimately a very unimportant matter.

I try to avoid deleting comments or turning comments off as much as possible but I will if that is what is required, so please try to be respectful and remember Frankie isn’t real but I am.

Sorry if this comes across as rude but those who know will get why I kinda feel like I need to be extra thorough with my disclaimers 😅 Anyway for anyone reading this who can behave, enjoy ♥️

Hey Fae Folk, sort of awkward question (this is gonna be long winded sorry).

So if any of y’all don’t have Adblock or premium, you may have noticed that across YouTube (not just in the doll space) you’re seeing a LOT more ads on videos. This is because YT set it so that the ad option for monetized videos is default set to “place automatically.” I always turn this feature off, and try to keep my ads to no more than one ad per 15 mins of video.

But (and this is NOT to call any one content creator out trust) I’ve noticed a lot of other doll content creators don’t turn this off and have a bunch of ads. So my question is…do y’all care? In full transparency, I’m asking because I will 10000% continue limiting my ads if you’ve noticed and appreciate me having fewer but also, if you don’t care I could use the extra income from more ads. Especially since YT now doesn’t count views from devices that have Adblock (to my understanding this is definitely true for desktop and it seems also true for other forms of viewing) so like…my numbers are already getting messed up.

Again, y’all having a good experience absolutely trumps my metrics but I just thought I would be vulnerable ask because, quite frankly, it seems like other creators are getting tons and tons of views despite having a bunch of ads so it sort of just feels like I’m hindering myself needlessly 😅

Tl;dr do y’all care about ad placement?
