Born Slobodan Veljković in 1985 in Prokuplje, Coby has made a name for himself by infusing modern hip-hop production with traditional Serbian folk, as well as its turbo- variant, creating a potent breed of evergreen club-and-car bangers such as "Biseri iz blata", "Leto je", "Samo jako", "Ideš za Kanadu", and "Jao Mama", to name only a few.
