Welcome to TBT! It seems God has prepared my whole life for this time. Raised a Roman Catholic with a loving mother but an abusive dad, I was saved, water baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1976. Married to my High School sweetheart, we raised 2 children but one died from a car accident. Through other losses & mental hospital commitments, I've seen God's faithfulness shine through some of the worst possible circumstances a family could face. After taking an early retirement in 1994 to leave all and attend Bible College in preparation for ministry, we found out the ministry we loved and admired was filled with double standards and hypocrisy. All these years later, God continues to fan the flame of our first love for God, His word and Bride. These life experiences along with a call of God to minister to His people & passion for the truth have prepared us for ministry. We are lifelong disciples of Christ.

HEAR YE!
I just received a powerful prophetic word from the Lord! Please pay attention!!!
Here it is!!!
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared…”
Pardon the bit of sarcasm in the headline but there’s a reason why I did this. By the way...Do you know where this prophetic word is found in the New Testament? I’ll give you a hint… It’s in one of the Pauline epistles.
Prophetic 'headlining' and some 'headliners' are who and what gets people’s attention. But then what? Are we judging prophecies and measuring them against the word of God? Do all of these predictions truly come to pass within a time-frame where they can be judged or are they vague and ambiguous?
Are we running after prophecies that predict this and that and are convinced God is speaking to us about current events and future events to the degree that we follow them and don’t spend more time studying and reading God’s word much less weighing them?
We are not supposed to despise prophecies, and I don’t, but we’re not to run after them either. We are to test all things.
What is really concerning is that some of these prophetic folks go on and on and on in their prophecies as if they are speaking or writing an epistle with Apostolic authority. People are wowed by it...
What is more concerning about so many charismatic Christians today is, they put more credence in these prophecies than they do the word of God by cataloging, rehearsing and following purported prophets more than they study the Bible for themselves. I hear them talking more about these prophetic utterances than they do exegeting scriptures. This spiritual scale is way out of balance!
They don’t test or try the spirits or weigh these words against the word of God or by the fruit of people’s deeds and character. They don’t seem to think that is important.
As a result, so many have little to no spiritual discernment. That is very concerning and scary especially in the chaotic deceptive times we live in today.
Prophetic utterances under the New Covenant are for three main reasons: to edify, exhort and comfort the Body of Christ. Jesus, Paul and John the revelator did a lot of future predicting but I wonder if we even know what they predicted and if we are heeding those warnings?
However, a New Testament prophet named Agabus did give two predictive prophecies that came to pass within a brief period of time in the Book of Acts. It is concerning that even some who are long dead and their “words” haven’t come to pass, are being “canonized” by their followers. They are still talking about these purported prophecies years later, as if they hold a higher place in ranking than Jesus himself.
It’s very concerning that people seem to put as much credibility in these words as they should be putting into the Cannon of scripture, but don’t. Who and what is more credible: man or scripture, God and His Holy Word?
Placing huge emphasis and trusting in the “truth” of post canon prophetic words is not the pattern the Bible gives us for testing prophecy. Many cults have started because someone had a dream, revelation, or word from an angel.
When are we going to wake up and realize we have been given a more sure word of prophecy. When are we going to realize we are being duped by those who “sensationalize” utterances under the guise of the workings of the Holy Spirit?
Meanwhile their clarity and accuracy is little to none. Hitting the mark even 70% of the time does not make someone an expert much less an accurate archer.
When are we going to wake up and understand that the gifts of the Holy Spirit were never meant to trump or supersede scripture? When are we going to understand that the Gifts are ancillary to the supremacy of the word of God and handle them with fear and trembling?
In many “words” you will find folly.
“For a dream comes through much activity, And a fool’s voice is known by his many words.” Ecclesiastes 5:3
“For in the multitude of dreams and many words there is also vanity. But fear God.” Ecclesiastes 5: 7

Truth Be Told!
Lies Satan tells older generations!
C&P’d from “The Grandparent’s Club.”
This is 100% TRUTH!
*****************************
“Lies Satan Tells Older Generations…”
He whispers it softly,
so it sounds like wisdom—
You’ve already lived your purpose.
Your season has passed.
Let the young ones speak now.
He calls it rest,
but it’s really retreat.
He calls it humility,
but it’s really silence.
He tells you the years behind you
matter more than the breath still in your lungs.
He points to wrinkles and says expiration,
to slower steps and says irrelevant,
to quieter rooms and says finished.
But that voice is not from God.
Because Scripture has never favored youth over faithfulness.
God has always trusted those
who stayed long enough to learn Him.
Satan fears the older generation
because they carry memory.
Because they remember prayers answered slowly.
Because they know the sound of God’s voice after disappointment.
Because they’ve learned obedience without applause.
He tells you your influence is small now—but he trembles at your prayers.
He tells you your strength is gone but heaven still responds when you speak the name of Jesus.
He tells you your story is old—
but testimony does not expire.
God uses seasoned hands
because they don’t reach for glory.
He speaks through weathered hearts because they recognize truth.
He entrusts wisdom to those
who have survived doubt
and chosen faith anyway.
Jesus is not finished
when the pace slows.
He is not done
when the crowd thins.
He is not silent
when life becomes quieter.
Some callings only begin
after the noise fades.
There are prayers only you know how to pray.
Words only you can speak.
Peace only you can model
for a generation still learning how to wait.
If Satan can convince you you’re done, he doesn’t have to stop you-you’ll stop yourself.
But if you still have breath,
God still has intention.
If you still wake up,
He still has purpose.
Your faith was not meant to retire.
Your wisdom was not meant to be shelved.
Your voice was not meant to go quiet just because the world got louder.
The lie says you’re finished.
The truth says you’re needed.
And Jesus—
the same yesterday, today, and forever—is not done with you yet.

Beware of spiritual jackals…
Let's call them ”Jacks (a male version) & Jackeline’s (female version).
Metaphorically, a jackal usually represents someone who is:
• Opportunistic — waiting to benefit from others’ work, misfortune, or power
• Cunning or sly — clever in a self-serving, sometimes untrustworthy way
• A scavenger — taking leftovers rather than earning things directly
• Morally flexible — willing to compromise principles for gain
• A follower of stronger forces — thriving near “lions,” kings, or powerful people rather than leading themselves.
In literature, religion, and everyday speech, calling someone a jackal often implies smallness of character paired with cleverness—someone who survives by wit and timing rather than strength or honor.
For example:
• “He circled the deal like a jackal, waiting for the company to collapse.”
• In biblical or poetic contexts, jackals can also symbolize desolation, ruin, or abandonment, since they inhabit wastelands.
So metaphorically, a jackal isn’t just clever—it’s clever without nobility.
Physically, they have big ears. They are wolf like and run after indefensible prey. They hear undetectable sounds to the human ear, so they’re always listening to catch a prey in a snare.
They will abandon (ghost) you in a minute if you question, cross or stand up to them with the truth.

This video couldn’t be more abundantly clear and biblically correct. God is dismantling man-made systems built on celebrity, gifting and leadership that believes they are more anointed than everybody else.

2026 PROPHECIES! HOLD ON TO YOUR HAT!!!
This is a great post I copied and pasted with permission from my friend Toni Schwenn. She nailed it! These Modern day prophets are like Nostradamus’s. There’s only two instances in the book of Acts where a prophet gave an accurate word and it was to prepare the church or the apostle Paul for a very difficult time. Plus the apostle Paul already knew what was going to happen to him so it was a confirming word.
Otherwise, the book of Revelation is full of prophecies yet to be fulfilled so maybe we should focus on that even though we may not understand it all…at least the Bible says we’ll be blessed if we read it. These other so-called prophets are making a profit and pointing everything back to man or themselves.
Prophecy’s purpose in the New Covenant is for three things: edification, exhortation and comfort. We’re best to stick with that and if God chooses to give a word of knowledge for something that is going to happen in the future, don’t turn it into a headline- make it an issue of the heart.
Finally, the Bible is clear that we are not to despise prophecy, but test all things. Prophecy in the New Testament needs to be judged. It’s time we learned how.
Here is the post....
***************
By Toni Schwenn
This week, I have been listening to podcasters who have been reviewing, line by line, the 2025 prophetic words that were declared around this time last year to see whether or not these words were fulfilled as proclaimed. It doesn’t look good for the alleged prophets—including all of the favorite ones.
It seems to me that these year-end “Words from the Lord” tend to fall into one or more of five categories.
1. Headline prophecies—These are not really prophetic words. Rather they are deductions based on the troubling stories reported via multitudes of news reports. All of us can connect those dots. Therefore, ‘fulfillment’ does not apply.
2. Extremely vague prophecies—These involve a multitude of words that say nothing and everything at the same time—aka word salads. Also, the said ‘prophecy’ tends to contradict itself from beginning to the middle to the end. ‘Fulfillment’ is impossible to determine because no one can actually pin down any details.
3. Extreme verbiage prophecies—These are also word salads, but they sound like they are ‘spiritually deeper’ than the vague ones. Still, they are nothing more than a lot of verbal confusion. They use mixture and misappropriation of scriptures and bible stories (example: Jehu with a jawbone), which ends up painting a chaotic, abstract picture that results in a response of, “What did he just say?” ‘Fulfillment’ is left up to private interpretation (we know what the bible says about that) and one’s imagination (I guess kinda like the Rorschach test).
4. Fulfilled prophecies—Unfortunately, these are few to none—at least the ones that pertain to the new year. And those that are considered to be ‘fulfilled’ generally fall into one of the first three categories—which means we cannot know for sure. Keep in mind, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
5. Unfulfilled prophecies—Unfortunately, year after year, this seems to be the norm.
Please don’t get mad at me or at those who pay attention to the words that these alleged prophetic guys speak. It is a good thing and it is a necessary thing to know whether these folks are really hearing from God…or not.
And for sure, don’t become defensive toward the ones who prophesy falsely. If they have missed it, they are wrong. It’s time to make those who are said to be prophetic people accountable to what they are proclaiming in the Name of the Lord. If someone says “Thus says the Lord,” or “The Lord told me,” etc. and it doesn’t come to pass, he needs to own it, repent of it, and then go back to studying the Word. If he isn’t willing to do that, he is taking the Name of the Lord in vain, bringing reproach to His Name, misrepresenting the Word of God, and causing much extreme deception and harm within the body of Christ.
Again, your favorite ‘prophets’, unfortunately, are at the front of the line regarding these failed words. I’m very sorry for that.
All I’m saying is pay attention to what they are proclaiming to be from God. Don’t be persuaded by their claimed angel appearances, dreams, and/or visions. Don’t be swayed by the quiver in their voices, or the dramatic, spiritual expressions and presentations of their declarations. Transcribe their words. Do their words fit into any of the above categories? Do their words align with the principles of the God’s written Word? It is okay to hold them accountable for what they say. Again, it is necessary for us to do that. Then, you will have to make a decision regarding the scriptural credibility of that person.
In the meantime, stop chasing after prophetic words. It is not scriptural to do that. If you really want to know what God is doing and what the future holds, there are 66 books that you can refer to for that direction. God made sure to record for us His sure prophetic Word. And that’s the only word that we are to put our faith in.
To be clear, I 100% believe in the Eph 4 gift of the prophet, as well as the 1 Cor 11, 12, 13 and Romans 12 gifts of prophecy. Keep in mind that when Paul talked about these gifts, he was talking to the local church about how these gifts are to operate within the that church. He doesn’t say anything about looking for year-end prophecies, monthly prophecies, daily prophecies, or political prophecies. The gift of prophecy, first and foremost, is to function in order to build and strengthen the people within the local church. It was never meant to be a gift of fortune telling.
And, finally, every prophetic word must bring glory to God. Clearly, the way it is currently functioning, at least in Westernized Christianity, it does not do that.
However, it does bring great notoriety, glory, and gain to the alleged self-proclaimed prophets. Don’t believe me? Again, just start transcribing the 2026 words that are abounding right now. Store them in a safe place throughout the year. And come December 2026, check to see how many of the five categories they will likely fit into.

Truth Be Told!
Man-made hang ups and in Defense of Gospel Ministry...
I just feel the need to say this for myself and what I and my husband know and believe God has called me to do. I don't post this to fish for compliments or kudos but rather to take a stand before God and man for a calling.
After being on YouTube for a little over a year and preaching and declaring the word of God for nearly 4 decades, I have had a lot of pushback here lately. I don't fear man, I fear the Lord. We will all stand before Him and give an account of what we did with the "talent" He gave us to invest in His Kingdom.
Some people have made it abundantly clear and voiced their disapproval of the fact that 1. I don’t have a doctorate in theology 2. I don't hold a masters in divinity 3. that I am not an ordained pastor/ minister- at least not now and finally 4. That I am a woman and have no authority to preach or teach the word of God. I have paid a price to stand where God placed me and I gladly do so. There was a period of time in my life where I ran from Him and acted foolishly. I have since repented.
On top of all that, I’ve been criticized for the fact that I do like and wear jewelry and I do wear makeup. At the ripe age of 71, I need some help in my presentation. Your interpretation of certain scriptures is your prerogative, but I know differently.
In the past, I was an associate pastor, and ordained on two different occasions and been part of three different ministerial networks. However, I have no desire or leading by the Holy Spirit to be ordained by any denomination, creed or network now or in the future. This is not rebellion. I believe it is Bible.
I am no longer an associate pastor or ordained with any particular association or denomination, although I was at one time. My credentials and my approval comes from God alone. That goes for any true minister of the gospel.
Galatians 1:10 (ESV)
“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
According to 1 Corinthians 11, my husband is my spiritual covering, and he is covered by Christ. We are in fellowship with a circle of other mature believers and we are accountable to each other. If this offends you or convinces you that I’m not qualified or fit for the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ, then so be it. Let the fruit and the veracity of God‘s word speak for itself.
God used a donkey to speak the word of God to a false prophet, and in these last days He said, “I will pour my spirit out upon all flesh and your sons and daughters will prophecy... “Joel 2:28 and Acts 2: 17.
If it offends you that I am a woman and/ or that I currently don’t have any “man-made credentials“ then I make no apologies or excuses, but as for me, I will continue to prophesy all that God has given and will give me in the future as He sees fit, and declare His Word according to the measure of grace and gifting He has blessed me with.
I am not trying to be defensive, but rather stand up for what I believe and know in my heart God has called me to... from the womb of my mother who dedicated me to the Lord before I was even conceived. She prayed and asked for a daughter and would name her Mary Ann. I was the answer to her prayer. God saved me at the age of 22 and I led my mother to Christ shortly after that. I led my Dad to Christ in 1989 while he lay dying with cancer. God has been faithful.
I’ve been born again for nearly 50 years and have been studying the word of God that long. Yes, I have made mistakes and had many missteps along the way, but God has used it all to make me a more authentic and proven minister of the gospel. I walk in repentance every day of my life. If you can’t receive me then so be it, keep on moving, but God bless you.
I will continue doing what God has called me to do until I have breathed my last breath. I have the full support and blessing of my husband, who is an awesome man of God and teacher of the word himself.
Shalom🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️🔥
A Titleless sister,
Mary Ann Wray
