Welcome to Studio L7—Tech ASMR and KEWL.
Studio L7 is an ASMR radio station, not a performance and not a “show.” This channel is built around real sound, real gear, and real moments set and captured as they happen. No acting. No hype. No fast cuts. The goal isn’t to entertain you; it’s to set the standard for sound-first ASMR.
Most programming focuses on creator tools, natural sounds of gear, and studio workflows without performance.
Fridays are KEWL.
KEWL is late-night radio-style ASMR with minimal voice, long pauses, subtle station IDs, and carefully layered sound beds designed for sleep, focus, and decompression. It’s not here to perform. It’s here to hold space.
What you’ll hear:
• Binaural soundscapes for sleep and focus
• Tech ASMR from real gear and real workflows
• KEWL Fridays—late-night ASMR radio
• Live hangouts Sundays at 9:00 PM
If you’re looking for calm, consistency, and sound you can trust, you’ve tuned in.

Alright, alright, alright.
Sunday Night Hangout is getting a little upgrade.
KEWL Radio is now running 24/7, which is awesome, but I noticed when I “break into” the live stream, it doesn’t quite hit the same way as a regular Sunday night live. So next Sunday, we’re doing both.
I’ll be streaming into the KEWL 24/7 livestream like I’m taking over the radio station signal, but I’ll also be starting a separate Sunday Night Hangout livestream right here on YouTube, so everybody gets the notification, the real chat room, the proper live event, and the full Bigbobby experience.
So if you’re hanging out in the 24/7 KEWL stream, you’ll hear me break in.
But if you want to chat, say hey, and be part of the actual Sunday Night Hangout, jump over to the separate live feed when it pops up.
Same strange little studio.
Same late-night radio vibes.
It's probably the same me adjusting something I should have adjusted before going live.
Sunday at 9:00 PM.
KEWL Radio stays on.
Sunday Night Hangout takes over.
Alright, alright, alright. This should be KEWL.

Behind the Sound Monday Video, we’re doing something dangerously official…
I’m making the bumpers and stingers for KEWL Radio.
Yep. The little station IDs. The quick “you’re listening to KEWL” moments. The tiny audio glue that makes the live stream feel less like a random playlist and more like a real late-night radio station being operated by one slightly tired guy surrounded by microphones, cables, and sound-making objects.
We’ll talk about what bumpers and stingers are, why they matter, how I’m recording them, and how to keep them soft enough for ASMR without accidentally sounding like a monster truck commercial.
The video drops Monday at 9:00 PM
So come hang out for Behind the Sound Monday and watch me build the little sounds between the sounds.
Alright, alright, alright. KEWL is getting official.

Alright, alright, alright…
This Sunday Night Hangout is happening 5/17/2026, but here’s the KEWL part:
You’ll need to go to the livestream, because KEWL Radio will already be rolling, doing its 24/7 thing like the little late-night radio station that somehow got loose on the internet.
Then at 9:00 PM West Coast time, I’ll break into the stream like a very calm emergency broadcast from the whisper room.
We’ll hang out, talk about what’s going on with the channel, the gear, the sounds, the experiments, the questionable decisions, and whatever else drifts across the studio desk. It’ll be relaxed, low-key, and probably slightly ridiculous, which is pretty much the official Studio L7 ASMR business model at this point.
So don’t look for a separate show. Just jump into the live stream and hang around.

Next week I’m heading out to shoot some wall art, the kind of stuff I make with big dreams. Print beautifully, rent a booth at an art fair, sit there for two days, talk to a hundred wonderful people, and then proudly walk away having made just enough money to cover the booth fee and maybe an expensive sandwich.
Ah yes… the glamorous life of an artist.
But honestly, that’s part of why I love it. Hanging around other artists, photographers, makers, painters, woodworkers, jewelry people, and the guy who somehow turns old forks into wind chimes, that’s the good stuff. The camaraderie is worth the sunburn, the folding chair back pain, and the emotional damage of hearing, “Do you have this in a smaller size?”
I’m also bringing the SeeMo into this workflow so I can record what my camera sees while I’m shooting. That way, for Studio L7 ASMR, I can film the behind-the-scenes process, then cut directly to the actual camera view, the framing, the quiet moments, the lens choices, the little adjustments, and the sound of working in the field.
So yes, I’m going to shoot wall art. and somehow turn it into relaxing ASMR content.
Because apparently, even my questionable business decisions have a sound department now.
Alright, alright, alright.

New KEWL video drops tomorrow at 10:00.PM
The lights are low, the mics are ready, and KEWL is sliding into your feed with that late-night radio feeling.
This one is all about settling in, slowing down, and letting the sounds do what they do. Quiet voice, real triggers, calm ambience, and a little bit of that “I probably should be asleep, but this sounds too good” energy.
Headphones recommended. Snacks optional. Productivity strongly discouraged.
Tomorrow at 10. New KEWL video.
Alright, alright, alright.

KEWL Radio is officially on the air 24/7.
That means KEWL is becoming more than just uploads, it’s turning into a real little late-night sound station for sleep, relaxation, background sound, studying, stress relief, insomnia survival, and those weird hours when the room is quiet but your brain has decided to start a committee meeting.
Most of the 24/7 stream is pre-recorded KEWL programming, but I’ll be breaking in live during my normal scheduled shows. So one minute you may be relaxing to calm sounds and the next minute I may appear live, talking about microphones, road sounds, toaster maintenance, or some other extremely important matter of national ASMR security.
Also, KEWL Ride is coming. The public videos will still happen, but the live KEWL Ride streams will be for Night Shift members.
So basically:
KEWL Radio is always on.
KEWL shows are still happening.
KEWL Ride is coming.
Night Shift gets the live detours.
Alright, alright, alright… KEWL is on the air.

Tonight I officially launched the 24/7 KEWL Radio live stream.
Now, before anyone thinks I have personally become a sleep-deprived radio goblin living inside YouTube… this stream is mostly pre-recorded KEWL programming running around the clock.
But here’s the fun part: I’ll be breaking into the stream live during my normal scheduled times, just like a weird little late-night radio station with microphones, triggers, questionable coffee choices, and a complete lack of corporate supervision.
This is the beginning of KEWL Radio being always on for sleep, background sound, studying, relaxing, late-night work, insomnia survival, or just having something calm playing in the room.
Also, I’ll be talking more about KEWL Ride, the new live-stream ride-along idea I’m working on. The public videos will still happen, but the actual KEWL Ride live streams will be for Night Shift members. So if you want to ride along live in real time, hang out, hear the road sounds, coffee stops, windshield ambience, and whatever else happens out there… Night Shift is where that will live.
Alright, alright, alright… KEWL Radio is officially on the air 24/7.

Gear Tip: Turning a Lumix into a Handheld Live Stream Rig
Alright, alright, alright. I just picked up the Accsoon SeeMo 4K, and I’m putting together a new handheld livestream setup using my Lumix G85 with a 12mm cine lens.
The idea is simple: instead of using the phone as the main camera, I can use the Lumix for that real camera look, send the HDMI signal into the Accsoon SeeMo 4K, and use the phone as the monitor/streaming brain.
That 12mm cine lens gives me a nice wide view for walking, driving, behind-the-scenes work, coffee shop stops, field recording, and those “you’re right there with me” KEWL Ride moments. Wide enough to show the scene, but still controlled enough to feel intentional.
This could be a killer little rig for anyone wanting better live stream quality without building a giant shoulder-mounted spaceship.
Camera. Lens. SeeMo. Phone. Power. Audio.
That’s the whole game.
Now I just need to test it in the real world and see how much trouble I can get into before the battery gives up.
More testing coming soon.

Alright, alright, alright…
I’ve got a new idea rolling into the Studio L7 / KEWL universe, and I think this one could be a lot of fun.
It’s called The KEWL Ride.
The idea is simple: I’m going to take you along on a nighttime truck ride while KEWL Radio plays through the actual truck speakers. Not a fake studio mix. Not a polished voiceover. Just the door closing, the key turning, the engine starting, the radio clicking through stations… and then we find KEWL.
Once it lands on:
“Alright, alright, alright…”
…the ride begins.
Think road noise, dashboard glow, quiet cab ambience, late-night radio, and long relaxing sound-for-sleep energy. I may film it with the Hollyland Lyra 4K or the Insta360 GO 3S, and I’m planning to capture the audio with the Zoom H2essential so it feels like you’re actually riding along in the passenger seat.
This could connect with Friday KEWL, After Dark, Walk With Me, on-location shoots, and even Sunday Night Live rebroadcasts.
Basically: KEWL Radio leaves the studio and gets on the road.
Would you ride along?

Alright, alright, alright…
Tonight’s Behind the Sound is a little Quickie Cam test in the rain. This is only a test — had this been an actual polished production, I would have probably combed my beard and pretended I knew exactly what I was doing.
For this one, I tested the Hollyland A1 microphone, and honestly… I didn’t really care for it on this setup. It worked, but it didn’t give me the kind of sound I want for these quick behind-the-scenes ASMR moments. I’m looking for something more natural, more immersive, and a little closer to that “you’re standing there with me in the rain” feeling.
So next time, I think I’m going to try the binaural microphone and see if that gives the Quickie Cam a better sound-for-sleep vibe.
This whole Quickie Cam idea is about testing fast, sharing the process, and letting the setup get better as we go.
What do you think — should the next Quickie Cam test be binaural rain, gear sounds, or a walk-and-talk field test?
