Today (July 27th, 2025) is Super Mario Bros. S's 6th Anniversary!

In celebration of this, I'll be releasing much more of the current soundtrack for Super Mario Bros. S and Super Mario Sandbox on my channel, featuring songs made by numerous composers and arrangers, including myself, smartwimp4, bernie, Nathan, and ‪@polyplayer‬. Enjoy!

Also, some quick updates regarding Sandbox and this event:

- The original temple theme is, unbeknownst to me at the time, a remix of the BGM for the Black Knight 2000 pinball machine. This track (which has been renamed to Black Knight 2019, named for the year it was arranged) will be repurposed for a special place in the final game.

- As such, the team has worked on making a NEW temple theme, combining elements from the original version with our own designs, in a pseudo-style parody way. The new SMB and SMAS temple themes, as well as the full version of the SMB3 temple theme, will release Friday!

- Sandbox development is still cooking! Unfortunately the game isn't in a place where a public demo is currently feasible, but I plan to release public alpha v0.0.1 once it is. This version will add a number of new features, including level decor, text elements, new enemies, and the heavily-requested pipe spawners.

- Gaming.

obligatory "hey guys I've unlocked the community tab" post

Might as well show something off lol. Here's a screenshot of a new distance indicator for Road to Infinity. They'll appear every so often during a run, and there might be some characters sitting on the bench (which I haven't coded yet).
