Video Essay YouTube has found its James Cameron in Lady Emily.

Having seen 5 minutes of the new Lady Emily video, it's a masterclass in analytical writing and technical achievement. It really pushes the medium a lot farther than I ever expected it too. Of course I'm biased, but I was just blown away and so was everyone else who I heard from. Consider this the The Boy and the Heron of YouTube videos, in that you won't know about it for quite some time, but everything you'll hear about it will be absolutely ravenously applauding.

Also, having seen it, I don't really think there's a need for Twin Peaks anymore? Sure, watching the show will let you see it. But watching the new video? I lived that shit!

Vid isn't related to Twin Peaks either! It just makes you feel like you're in that world.
