Vintage Gaming Memories

Everything Atari, Vintage Handheld Games and MORE!

Welcome to my channel, Vintage Gaming Memories!

I'm Chris and I was born in the 70s and never lost my passion or forgotten the path that led me to where I am today. I'm a collector of electronic & mechanical handheld games from the 70s and 80s. I currently have over 160 unique handheld games in my collection that are in excellent physical & working condition. In addition to the handhelds, there are also the classic gaming systems/consoles from the 70s and 80s to reminisce.

My pride and joy would be my Atari 8-bit collection. It includes all Atari computers and gaming consoles, along with its peripherals, that were made available for North America. My complete collection contains over 70 unique Atari items that are also in excellent physical & working condition.

My passion or some would say obsession, is something I hope will inspire you or maybe just simply entertain you. I appreciate your visit and welcome you to many more!

Vintage Gaming Memories

Sad to read that another collector/creator of gaming systems has passed away before the new year. I bought a lot from Shilo's company that he founded, New Wave Toys. RIP.

Email from NWT:

Hello New Wave Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of New Wave’s founder and chief mastermind, Shilo Prychak. The NWT team is understandably shaken, as are so many of us who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Shilo’s vision, creativity, and passion were the foundation of this company, and his impact on our team, our partners, and the arcade community cannot be overstated. He poured himself into building something meaningful, and that spirit will always be part of what he created.

During this time, current and former managers are coming together to help stabilize the business and keep things moving forward. We are committed to honoring Shilo’s legacy and the dream he worked so hard to build.

As you may know, Shilo had many projects in progress at the time of his passing. We know many of you will have questions about preorders placed for those projects. Please know that our first priority is to come back to you all with concrete information as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for your patience, kindness, and understanding as we work through this transition and continue the work he cared so deeply about. More updates will be shared as we are able.

Best,
