Hey my Resident Evil community!

I apologize for being M.I.A. for a bit. To be honest, I’ve been struggling to adapt to this heat since moving abroad, it literally cooks my brain every day, making it impossible to focus on recording or editing. Plus, my laptop is tapping out and overheating after just an hour or two in this intense heat while gaming or editing.

By the time I finish my 9-5 (which is actually 9 PM to 6 AM, extra damage since I'm not sleeping at night), the little energy I have left is pretty much gone.

However, please bear with me, I’m working slowly but surely on the next project: an achievement hunting video for Resident Evil Requiem. I’ve already hit the 100% and finished the voiceover, so now I just need to stick the edit together.

I’m trying to get this out quickly before the RE9 DLC drops and ruins my 100% completion lol. Once that lands, I’ll be diving straight back in to clear those new achievements and cover that gameplay for you guys too.

Honestly, I’m wiped. I’ve put over 20 hours of work into this Resident Evil 9 review alone, and it’s finally dropping TODAY at 7 PM Central (2 hours from now!)

Fair warning: I’m not holding back, so there WILL be spoilers. I had to deep dive into RE Requiem to explain why this game finally dethroned my favorites.

Leon Kennedy survived Raccoon City, rescued the President’s daughter, and now he’s smashing Capcom’s Q1. According to an official Capcom Press Release (March 4, 2026), Resident Evil Requiem has moved 5 million units in just five days, officially dethroning every other title in the 30-year-old franchise.

While Grace Ashcroft is the newcomer, it’s clear the 'Leon Legacy' is what’s driving these insane numbers. The fans came for the lore, but they stayed for the aura (myself included).
