Hey guys! I love playing survival horror video games, especially the indie style to shed some light on really cool smaller projects hidden out there! Join me on my mission to get some eyes on more indie horror games! 👀
Leon Kennedy survived Raccoon City, rescued the President’s daughter, and now he’s smashing Capcom’s Q1. According to an official Capcom Press Release (March 4, 2026), Resident Evil Requiem has moved 5 million units in just five days, officially dethroning every other title in the 30-year-old franchise.
While Grace Ashcroft is the newcomer, it’s clear the 'Leon Legacy' is what’s driving these insane numbers. The fans came for the lore, but they stayed for the aura (myself included).
Resident Evil 6 had its flaws, but can we all agree that Piers Nivans was the absolute carry for Chris Redfield? Working on a deep dive into why he’s the undisputed G.O.A.T. of Resident Evil 6.
I STILL can't believe they actually cancelled the new Prince of Persia Remake. It feels like Ubisoft is leaving one of their best franchises in the sand.
I did a deep dive into why this happened and what it means for the series. If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out and let me know in the comments: Do you think the franchise is dead, or is there still hope?
Oh my gosh, this game is absolute trash. I'm sorry, man, I really tried to like it. I LOVE the Alien franchise, but I have no idea what happened here. But I guess it's my own fault, I played Isolation first which is one of the best horror games ever (imo), but this game is literally 0% scary and full of weird action sequences and the story is kind of all over the place. I didn't play long, though, I couldn't bring myself to put more time into this. GarBaaage. A "terrifying" 2/10. 😠
Finished A Way Out last year with my co-op partner, and damn, what a ride. It was one of our first real bonding sessions in gaming (we went on to play It Takes Two, Resident Evil 5 and 6, etc), and we somehow pulled off insane teamwork from start to finish. At the same time, we had this low-key rivalry going that made everything way more fun. Every mini-game turned into a championship match, and we were trash-talking while still trying to pull each other through the tougher sections.
The story is tight and surprisingly emotional. No spoilers, but the way it pulls both players in and makes the experience feel personal is wild. We were genuinely in our feels by the end. One of those rare games where you sit in silence for a little while, while the credits are rolling.
I told my cousins (they’re brothers and are very close) to play it, and they finished it last weekend. Watching their reactions at the end just confirmed it for me; this game hits hard and sticks with you. They left my home depressed. 😂
If you want a co-op game that actually means something, with memorable moments, real tension, and plenty of laughs along the way, this is it. Absolute banger.
Tomb Raider I•II•III Remastered Review: A solid 7/10 for me. ✅
Please keep in mind that when reading my review, I never played the original 90s versions. However, I’ve played every single modern Tomb Raider game since Legend, and I loved them all. Going back to this one is a huge step back, obviously. But for its time, I can see why it was such a revolutionary video game.
It’s incredibly enjoyable but feels pretty clunky and slow, even with the modern controls added. That said, it’s something you can get used to if you give the game a chance. Might as well, while waiting for Legacy of Atlantis in 2026, am I right?
Out of the three, I’m still busy with part one, but I’m really having a good time with it. It reminds me of when I used to enjoy the original Resident Evil trilogy... fun times! Its lack of hand-holding is also something to look out for, though I kind of welcome it.
Anyway, it’s a pretty fun experience. Just pick it up on sale, so you don’t hate yourself if you get bored fast, because that happens to me whenever I get stuck on puzzles, miss a jump, or accidentally dive off a high ledge, which happens like A LOT. 🤕
This game... ah man. It felt largely out of place. I don't remember if it's a continuation of the story of AW1 or where it fits in really, it's been a while since I played it. But I scrolled through my recorded footage to see what's going on and I did NOT like this game. It felt like a copy/paste of Alan Wake 1 but they removed all the good stuff. It's a confusing mess imo. Anyway, I did see many good things about AW2 and I am genuinely excited to give it a shot in a month or 2. However, AW1, you might have a good time. This game is a 3/10 for me. Kinda boring.
