Tomorrow, for the first time here, I'm going to be uploading some newscasts.
Friday was the last day for WTAJ's longtime Chief Meteorologist, Joe Murgo, who departed the station after 22 years. I have his final shows from that day (4:00pm, and 5:00-6:30pm). Expect that to go up sometime later Monday.

The last 2 weeks of weekly test captures will go up hopefully sometime in the next couple days.


Also, on Thursday, pending that either weather or something else doesn't get in the way, I will be returning to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day. I went to Groundhog Day last year and recorded some of the event, but it was in low enough quailty that I didn't upload it. This year, I hope to have some video from the event to upload here, with a better camera. So look out for that, hopefully over the weekend.

We're almost to the end of 2022, and starting next year I will be making a slight change to regular uploads.

Starting in January, I will begin to consolidate RWT captures into one weekly compilation. This will include all weeklies I capture (though I may upload a test separately if I find it noteworthy, like a major fail or something else.)

For reference, the current list of Automatic and Regular Schedule weeklies I try to go for (but don't always get as you may notice) and thus will (hopefully) regularly appear are:

WLS 890 - Sundays 3:59am

KDKA 1020 - Sundays 9:05pm-Whenever They Send It

WHAS 840 - Mondays 2:15am

WGY 810 - Mondays 3:11am

WPSU-TV 3 - Mondays 3:15am

The video will of course also include any random tests I run into, such as semi-regulars on the channel like WTAJ and K-Love.

The weekly videos will usually either premiere or just go public on Sundays.

Hey there

Thought I'd inform you that I have returned to nighttime AM RMT capturing. However those will be posted all together around the end of the month. Pennsylvania's RMT will go up hopefully day of, like usual.

Most of this month's nighttime AM RMT captures are car captures. However I have purchased a Sangean HDR-14 and hopefully will get it at the end of this week. I live in an HD Radio deadzone (the only somewhat recievable HD signal here is WPSU-FM, but likely not enough to decode) but I hope to use it for DXing and when travelling to an area with HD signals.

Also with how the forecast is shaping up, looks like RMT Thursday will be spent under an Ice Storm Warning here (nope, Winter Storm Warning). Here's to hoping I don't lose power while editing lol

RMT video will premiere hopefully tonight around 8:00 PM (oh no it won't, see my most recent post). I'm too tired to edit anymore right now so hopefully I don't take too long with it later lol

Got Indiana from WOWO as well. That will come sometime Friday. Long distance RMT captures will still be infrequent because I don't have a really good reception AM radio in here anymore. At some point I might try to find a replacement but for now don't expect much.
